Finishing the Road Trip

Lacy gripped his hand "don't worry." He scowled a bit shaking his head "I'm not letting you leave my side, and I'm not kidding, nor am I exaggerating." He said firmly , Lacy sighs softly blowing a tuff of hair out of her face and countered his comment. "You have your practices, band, tours, you can't always be with me." He raised a eyebrow "you're coming with me. I made a promise to protect you, and I couldn't live with myself if I broke it." She looked down at her lap sadly she muttered faintly so he didn't hear her comment, Andy gripped her arm "please don't cry baby. What's wrong?"

"You'll get bored off me!" Lacy snapped knowing she was dull "never. I love you Lacy. " Andy glanced at her from the corner of his eye, she looked at him "but you barely know me." Lacy bite on her lip chewing on it and peeling off skin. "Sorry I just don't feel good enough for you. I feel like a charity case.." The thought didn't fade from her mind like he wished it would have, Andy gripped the console. "You are good enough for me, please." He held her hand tightly and tried to hide the tear that slipped down his cheek, he rarely cried for anyone but knowing what bit he knew of Lacy he wished he could change her feelings over the past

Lacy leaned over kissing away the tear. "Why are you crying Andy?" She felt bad but he need to hear that truth. "Because, I feel so hopeless." He snarled "I love you so much and frankly, I'm really scared Lacy" his shoulders heaved, and more tears slid down his cheeks, he didn't like crying when someone he cared about was so close. She pulled the car to the side of the road, jumping the console she sat in Andy's lap kissing him lovingly "you aren't hopeless. You are so strong and your heart and soul is so beautiful everyone has their scars and fears. Don't be scared. I will always love you." She wiped away his tears as he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her deeply. "I love you too babe" Lacy smiled faintly "don't hurt for me." She nuzzled his neck.

"that's impossible babe" he kissed her cheek. "I will always hurt for you" she scowled. "I don't like you in pain." Andy laughed weakly "same for me!" Lacy sighs "I won't be in pain as soon as we are safe Andy." "then I wont be either" He countered her, Lacy huffed stubbornly. "I want my silly playful Andy... Not the worried one.. I want everything to be normal. For us." She didn't like him so moody "I will be, when we are home safe, and you are out of harms way." She frowned at him annoyed Lacy groaned, "you are impossible! Let's just get home as fast as possible." "I can't drive with you sitting on my lap'" he said with a smile teasing her which she fought back, Lacy smirked "but your batman!" She gasped "batman can't do something!" She said shocked just messing with him she got off and went back to the passenger seat, "let me re-phrase. its illegal to drive with you in my lap" he said laughing. Lacy knew they were just on a serious subject but she hated his moody sadness, Lacy laughed "have you seen Batman's driving? Really!" She looked shocked he couldn't control his laughter

Putting the car back into drive and continued the route home. After a few minutes he glanced over at Lacy and smiled. "earlier you said I didn't know you. I know that right now you don't know yourself very well, but is there anything you do remember?" he asked as she sighed heavily in response "well I remember I'm 19 and that I'm a fan of rock and roll, metal, grunge, into scene though. I used to listen to country before rock became my life. I have my one sibling and I don't remember much else." "Nothing? not favorite food even?" he asked surprised "Oh that!" Lacy laughs "I love lasagna, pizza and Chinese food."You will fit in well my dear" he said smiling at her, Lacy grinned happily "yay!" He chucked "so where do you wanna stop for food?"

Lacy smiled "yes please?"

"Where?" he asked, Lacy blushed red "oh, anywhere is good." "We will stop soon then" He shook his head at her ridiculousness, as they drove for a bit more he finally pulled into to a small Chinese restaurant. "We can take a little while to eat" he said smiling She squealed hugging him across the divider. "Yay! Foreign squinty people food!!" She joked "oh god" he said laughing. "Lets go in" Lacy grins stepping out she walked over to Andy, holding out her hand shyly.
