HER EMOTIONS

(Author's note: I tried my best to convey the emotions they felt....Hope you don't get bored)

                Nearly after two hours of travel,Abhigya reached Pune.Abhi was dumbstruck seeing her driving experience.Seeing him going all pale,Pragya had slowed down the car bringing back Abhi's heartbeat to normal....Abhi let Pragya drive thr car,since she knows the routes better...He found the difference in her driving as they were nearing her home..She had slowed down  and her eyes had welled up slightly, remembering the beautiful time spent with her parents here in this place....As they passed through the streets Pragya let her eyes wander around, letting her register in mind that this was the place where once she had lived happily without any worries....

The streets where she used to roam around,play with the neighborhood kids, ride her scooty, where she would dance like crazy whenever there was  a downpour...Abhi on the other hand had not averted his gaze from her face....He could feel the pain now...She was going weak...She must be strong because she is a strong woman....He felt it...He slowly held her hands and that is when Pragya turned to face the reality....The bottled up tears finally found their way to roll down her cheeks...Abhi felt really bad for her state...He nodded as no, thereby wiping away her tears...

Finally they reached her house and Abhi got down quickly and came to her side ,opening the door for her.As she stood there ,she couldn't help herself from letting those silent tears flow..Abhi on an impulse reached out for her bag and took out the key and then held Pragya's hand, guiding her to move forward...She was walking like a robot while Abhi was being the key for her...Abhi slowly unlocked the door and turned the knob..As soon as the door opened, the sun rays fell directly on the photo frame that was hanging on the wall....It was a huge photo frame of Pragya and Arjun hugging her parents from either sides....It was a photograph worth framing...

Abhi placed the keys and turned to see Pragya taking slow steps.She took her own time to reach the place where the photo frame was hanging....She slowly caressed all their faces whereas Abhi stood there silently watching her with tears in his eyes...He felt as if someone was squeezing his heart out...It hurts a lot to see her suffering like this....He really couldn't figure out why he was feeling like this for her....Maybe she was the first woman in his life he got close to after Dadi and Bulbul...But he had also helped many other girls but why did he feel something different for Pragya????Maybe she was like a sister to Arjun,his best friend...He was brought back to reality when he heard the sound of something breaking...

He ran to see Pragya kneeling down on the floor and crying by hugging the photo frame....She had mistakenly pushed a vase which fell down and broke...He lifted her holding her shoulders and made her lit on the sofa of the living room...He went to get some water and made her drink it....But she was reluctant to accept it and continued crying....

After a long time of fighting with himself,he pulled her into a hug which Pragya reciprocated immediately...She hugged him tightly pouring out all her tears which she had been holding on...Abhi slowly removed the frame and placed it on the table before and caressed her hair,and patting her back to calm her...But it wasn't that easy to calm her down...Afterall it was her parents who had died...Abhi sat still not even moving an inch, letting her cry her heart out...After what seemed an hour,Abhi found Pragya coming back to normal...Pragya slowly parted from the hug....Finally they both thought of having an conversation....

Pragya:"Sorry Abhi!!!I...I didn't mean..."

Abhi:"You need not feel Sorry Pragya...I can understand what you are going through now...You know you can always count on me as we are friends now...I knew you needed some time to accept the reality..That's why I didn't stop you...Whatever you feel you can share it with me.."
