{{For a sense of scale, Angel is around the height of one wolf's mid thigh to foot. The werewolves hunch down like Legoshi with Haru from Beast-stars to give you a bit of a comparison.}}
A dark grey looking wolf seized her by the back of her shirt and carried her off before she could consider what in the heck was going on. She was dropped before a cave, a massive cold cave with the biggest beast that ever lived inside. His fur was as black as that one night, and his grunt was the deepest of them all. "Speak.""Wha-?" Angel replied. Did that thing just talk? "H-h-hello?"
"Are you vamp?" His speech was slurred and so low she barely got ahold on what he said.
"I-I... w-what? I'm Angelique Putrow."
He let out a heavy sigh and nodded towards another. He then made a bark to the grey one, who yipped in response. Between his soul sucking black fur, he held bright shiny fangs and an even brighter pair of red eyes that terrified her. Behind his fur, another cave out. The wolf was visibly smaller, but still towered over her. Fur of pure white, but stained with red all down her snout and chest. Her eyes were bloody red as well, and Angel violently scooted backwards as she made an attempt towards you. The biggest one growls at her and she stands back, but all eyes are on Angel now. She fees her back against the wall as all the sharp fanged monsters point their eyes at her like prey.
The wall behind her shifts, and she slowly looks up to another, a skinnier wolf with a mix of white and brown in his fur. He clutches around her and growls at the others, and Angel breaks. "Please, I want to wake up." She sobs as she curls up in the wolf's embrace. They all are going to eat her alive bit by bit. The way they show their fangs and look at her, so much smaller than them and so confused. They are going to hurt her. After much barking, the wall that cradles her sobbing body eases up, and she wipes away her vulnerable tears. The two biggest wolves, the black and white one, have re-entered their cave. The grey one stays behind and watches her a bit more from afar.
"Are you ok? A voice said. She didn't know who, but regardless she shifted away from the fluffy wall and nodded. "Y-yeah." The grey one moves closer and she stands in between the two, who growl at each other in what she only assumes is their communication. The grey one points to himself in front of her, "Can-a-gan." "Canagan." Angel replies, pointing to the big grey wolf. She then points to herself, "Angel." She then turns around to the brown and white furred one, who points to himself. "Connery." "Thank you Connery." Angel looks down at the dirt and she is once again picked up by behind by Canagan, who carries her like a pup by the mouth.
For the rest of the day, Angel is treated by the white momma wolf with Connery close behind. They don't speak much, she's surprised they speak at all. They growl and push her around from place to place, being licked by the white wolf one moment and being forced to cuddle with her the next. It wasn't the worst though, for a wolf's life. She woke up just as the sun was setting nights before, and the wolves around her howled, transforming into humans by the cover of a summer fog.
Canagan was the first to approach her, grabbing her shoulder and dragging her towards the rest of the "pack". He was still much bigger than her, but much more realistic human proportions. He was strong, tall, and scarred, a grey furry skirt like thing slung around his waist to cover his *cough* area. Momma white was a beautiful woman with an amazing figure, a white fur like pelt covering her *cough* junk too. She actually spoke words to her in a normal human dialect, "Angel! So you aren't vampiric..." "Wha?" Canagan jumped in, "So she must be from the prophecy, I told you!" "What?" "Well, we'll see. Has Olcan transformed yet?" A dark haired man embraced her from behind. "I'm right here Louve."
Canagan leads Angel away to build a fire in front of the cave, while the other three went out to hunt. "So, do you know the prophecy Angel?" "No, I... don't." "Well, over the years we have lost much of our pack to the Vampire race. Remember when Louve said you weren't vampiric? The "prophecy" was that the middle would replenish the werewolf race when it's fourth wolf lives a life with the middle." "And I'm the 'middle'?" "Yeah, you aren't vampiric, and you aren't canis. So tonight we host a celebration for you. Do you know who the fourth wolf is?" "Not really..." "That's fine, you have until sunrise so take your time!"
The others close in around the circle with a dead deer, pinned down and snapped around the neck. The sight of it unsettles Angel, and she sneaks away to feast on two bags of chips stashed in her bag.
{{I'm gonna kind of rush the story because I literally have no clue what I'm going to do next and I have a time limit}}
The human werewolves all kneel beside the fire, enjoying the fire slowly dying out a warm read orange under the burnt logs and ash. The pressure is on Angel, because she knows soon she has to "choose" a wolf to fulfill a prophecy she knows nothing about. At first, she considers Canagan. The guy seems to know the most about and be the most open about the prophecy thing, but her mind somehow wanders to the other. It's obvious that the black and white wolf are in a relationship, so she shouldn't separate them. Really she's choshing between two, the bigger Grey wolf Canagan and the white and brown one who protected her, Connery. She cried in his arms just a little bit ago, how awkward that was... still.
Angel walked to the fire, the people there all having eyes on her and only her. "...so?" Louve speaks hopefully. "I-I... choose..." her voice wanders, staring at the two. Canagan leaned forward and smiles when her eyes meets his. She cocks a smile, "...choose Canagan. You will break the curse thing with me." She presents, gaining a bit more confidence. She's only known them for less than twenty four hours, right? Should it matter?
"Heh, alright then. Should we go?" He asks suggestively. "Go?" "No, you're not taking her." Connery stands up, and grabs Angel by the arm. "You'll break her, not the prophecy." "Wha-?" "Really, Conney? You do this now?" "How many have we lost from you being too agressive when fooling around?" "Those weren't my fault! It was purely accident." "Canagan, we've caught you with six females, all met with an unfortunate fate afterward. Who knows how many others? I won't let you ruin this" Connery grumbles, the sky gets a little brighter, and your arm becomes a bit more purple.
"Just leave me alone this once, she chose me!" " You're not going to break this thing!" Both move towards each-other a tad more threatening with each step. Angel breaks her arm away and runs, afraid of getting hurt. Of all the times for her not to have Diane, she would know what to do. The forest seems familiar, running as fast as she can for her life, the sky mostly dark this time getting brighter as if it was a timer. She hears chasing behind her, rustling louder and louder. She runs for her life, seeing the shiny reflection of the water as the sun slowly rises over the horizon.
Claws, claws grip her shirt behind her, trying to drag her back. She makes one last jump towards the water, one last leap. A soft brown fur covers her back midair, hugging her while tears fill her eyes.
SPLASH!
Angel wakes up to be surrounded by people, but civilization. One man calls for an ambulance, another lady picks up her bag, some of her polaroids fall out. Her cheek is being licked by a brown and white husky beside her, a wet Polaroid camera sling around it's neck. She sits up and people start shouting "SHES AWAKE" "SHES CONSCIOUS" but all she can focus on in her hand was a bright pink Polaroid picture of her, Diane, and the dog.
