Jeongguk licked his parched lips as he stared at his own reflection in the mirror.his effulgent, immaculate, and white suit catching his attention.
he glanced up and down,inspecting his appearance—he wants to look striking and elegant when he walks down the aisle,his feet dragging him along as he nears his future husband.
jeongguk took a deep breath,the beating of his heart was thunderous inside his chest,the sound defeaning to his ears.
he was apprehensive,but not in a bad way.he felt ecstatic that he's going to get married to his first and last love,kim taehyung.
it felt like a dream.having a handsome and a perfect-future husband.it's all too good to be true.does he even deserve this?
he never thought that someone like taehyung would initiate a conversation with him when they met at one of his friend's birthday party.(that friend being jung hoseok)
jeongguk wasn't a social butterfly,rather—he's the introverted type and he wouldn't even think about initiating a conversation or action towards everyone.
you all know what happened after the party.the pair had exchanged numbers.with jeongguk being himself,thought that taehyung just got his number and will never message him because,jeongguk thinks he's a boring person.
oh,but that was proven wrong when taehyung messaged him immediately after the party.both boys started to talk about themselves,mostly their childhood memories.

he was cut off from his overthinking session when he heard a brief cough behind him.he snapped his head towards the source of the sound.
"jeonggukie,you look stunning."the man said as he smiled glamorously.the aforementioned returned the kind gesture.
"thank you jiminie,i-i'm kind of nervous though."jeongguk looked down,fiddling with the hem of his suit,a sign of an apprehensive jeongguk.
jimin walked towards the younger boy,cradling him in his hefty arms."you're doing it again jeonggukie."he sighed softly as he caressed the younger boy's fluffy hair."if taehyung says he loves you,it means—he loves you.he wouldn't exchange you for anything in this world.i know it."jimin reassured his best friend of 13 years.
jeongguk giggled,the weight of burden and distress disappearing immediately.jimin really knows how to use words with him.he's very grateful and blessed to have him as his best friend who supported and helped him through thick and thin.
"thank you,hyung"jeongguk mumbled,his words muffled as he was pressed tightly into his hyung's chest.
jimin chuckled as he slowly let go off the younger,"what are we waiting for? we still have a wedding to catch."he grinned at jeongguk.
