okay on with the chapter! - Y/N's POV I was currently packing my bags quietly in my room. I was ready to ran away. I hated this life. All my parents ever did was beat me up because of their problems. They never loved me and it was time to leave them. I couldn't take it anymore. Yesterday my dad was punching me to death, I'm surprised i even survived. My door was locked since my mom always locks me in my room at night so i can't go anywhere or sneak out. I packed a little backpack with some water, a lighter, some weed, swimsuits, clothes and some food. I only took some necessary things because i knew that i would be on the road a lot. i quietly zipped my backpack and i pulled the hood of my black hoodie. I went towards my window and i slowly opened it i got out and jumped at the ground with a loud thud. I quickly got up and made my way to my car. It was a black jeep that my grandparents had and they gave it to me. It was the only good thing that came out of this family. I had no idea where i was going but , the only thing i knew for sure it was that i had to ran away from home now and never look back.
time skip 2 days on the road
Finally after two days of driving and no sleep i arrived at an island. I think it was called "Outer Banks". It was currently 10 pm and i was exhausted. I saw a small local restaurant called "The Wreck". I parked my car and i quickly hopped of my car. I walked towards the restaurant that had a lot of lights on. I made my way inside and i saw a lot of people sitting and enjoying their food. I didn't have a lot of money on me but i could afford some food. I sat in a small table near a window. I lent my head in the window and watched outside. There was a beautiful lake with trees all around it. I could see myself staying here. A few minutes later a brunette girl with curly hair approached me to take my order. "Hey what can i get for you?" she said while giving me a menu. I quickly searched for the cheapest thing they had and it was a burger. "Can i have a burger please?" i said while smiling weakly, since i haven't had any sleep or food these past few days. "Yeah sure" she said while taking my menu and going back in the kitchen.
It was currently 12 am and i had ate my food. I just stayed there because i obviously had nowhere to go. The restaurant was closing and i was left alone in the restaurant. The brunette approached me and said "Were sorry but we are about to close" she said while wiping my table. "i don't have somewhere to go" i said while looking down at my hands. "Oh..um..actually i know a place where you can stay. A friend of mine really needs a roomate." she said while holding her hand so i can stand up. "really? thank you so much!" i said while smiling softly. " I'm Kiara by the way, but my friends call me Kie" she said while we were walking towards my car. "I'm Y/N" i said smiling back at her. We got into my car and Kie started driving somewhere.
We arrived at a small house that Kie called "The Chateau" she said that it was her friend's John B's house. Kie parked my car and we walked towards the house. Kie knocked on the door and a boy with medium length hair and a bandana over his neck opened his door. Behind him were two other boys. One blonde one with beautiful blue eyes called JJ and one with black hair called Pope. That was the moment when i met all of the Pogues.
time skip 1 year later This past year has been one of the best years of my entire life. It was the year that i met all of my best friends and when i became a part of them. I became a Pogue. I was working shifts with Kiara in the mornings at "The Wreck" and in the afternoon we would all gather up and go to crazy adventures. I was also still living with John B and John B became like a brother to me.
Me and the Pogues were currently on John B's boat and we were just enjoying the sun. I was sat next to JJ and Kie, Pope and John B were sitting up front. I kinda started developing feelings for JJ last year and this year they became stronger. I stand up to go get another bear while suddenly i feel two strong hands wrapping against my waist and pulling me up. JJ had lifted me up on his shoulders and was walking around the boat. "JJ let me down" i said while laughing and hitting him playfully. "No can do angel face" he said while pretending to throw me in the water. "Don't u dare!!" I said to him while giving him dirty glance. Seconds later he slipped on the boat making us both fall into the water. "You little-" i said while splashing water into his face and laughing. He splashed water back at me and i swam fast towards him. He swam away from me quickly and i got tired. Eventually he came back on the boat and sat next to me putting an arm around my shoulder. I lent my head on his shoulder and smiled to myself. I haven't felt this happy in a long time. - A/N this chapter is mostly an introduction but in the next chapters the plot will start!
