I wake up and feel water being thrown on me. "What the hell?" I yell. "Marcel, easy on the Luna." I turn to see the hot guy from the barista. I look around and notice that I'm in a cell. "What the hell are you guys doing? Why am I here?" I question him.

The barista opens the cell door and looks me straight in the eyes, "You don't know who you are do you?" I raise my eyebrow. "What the hell are you talking about?" I say. He smiles, "You're Roman's Luna, and he needs you, and that's why I'm keeping you here." He says.

"Help! Help!" I begin to scream, the other guy begins to laugh. "No one for miles can hear you." He says. "Please don't kill me." I say to the barista. He shakes his head, "Oh no my dear. I can't kill you just yet, I've got to torture my enemy first." Tears begin to well up in my eyes.

"Let me go." I say. He stands, and comes closer to me. Then the roof caves in and parts of the ceiling hits the top of the barista's head causing him to fall. I stumble to the ground and see five gigantic wolves in front of me. I scream and run to the back of the cell.

I watch as the barista turns into wolf. I scream. I close my eyes and hear all the commotion happening around me, hoping this is all just a bad dream.

Minutes later I hear nothing but silence. I open my eyes and see all the wolves looking at me. "I'm going to die." I say aloud. The wolves begin to look at one another. They all exit except two. I watch the two of the wolves closely. Then, I hear footsteps. "Help!" I call out.

I see Roman turn the corner. The wolves come up behind him. "What the hell is going on Roman?" Roman comes up to the cell and opens the door. "Wait, how do I know they won't attack me?" I motion to the wolves. "They won't." He holds up his hand and they back away.

"What the hell are you?"

"Alex, I'm a werewolf."

He comes up to me in the cell. "No." I say in protest. "My love, please don't be afraid." My hands begin to shake. "Son?" I hear a dainty voice call. I see a beautiful woman turn the corner. Roman steps away from me and begins a low conversation with his mother. The woman comes up to me. "My child, do not be afraid. We mean you no harm."

"Please follow me." I follow her close behind. "There is a car waiting outside for you. Please get in, it will drive you to a safe location, where no harm will come to you." I nod and hop into the car.

After what seems like a journey to the center of the earth, the car stops at a gateway that opens up into a driveway. I gasp. "Luna? Are you okay?" The driver asks me.

"My name is Alex and I am fine." I tell him. Why the hell does everyone keep asking me that? If you don't know someone's name, you don't call them by a different one.

The car comes to a halt and the door opens. I see Roman. I step out, "Alex, will you let me explain everything?" He says. I take a look at the biggest mansion I have ever seen. All white, with big bay windows, and gold trimming. "Please, just come inside." I follow Roman inside. He stops in front of a door and we step into a nice office. I take a seat on the nearest couch closest to the door.

I watch as Roman leans against his desk. I look him up and down, how can I be so attracted to such a beautiful man. I mean, his crystal blue eyes, and his golden brown hair. And do not get me started on his skin. It's like a smooth vanilla ice-cream that you just want to lick.

"Is my family safe?" I ask him. "Of course." He says without hesitation. "We've had wolves guarding your house ever since we met."

"What? Why?" I ask him. "I understand that this is hard to digest, but you have to listen to me." He says, I huff in response. "You are my Luna, which means that you are my partner for as long as we live. You're my new mate now." He says. I stand in protest. "So, I belong to you? You control me? Ha! You don't know me at all. I will not be silent or controlled by anyone." I say. "I am my own damn person."

"Alex!" He yells. "This isn't slavery. I know that I don't own you. The last thing I want to do is control you. I just want to love you damn it." I sigh. "Now, can you please stop with all the dramatics." He says.

"What if I don't want you?" I ask him. He smirks, and walks over and takes a seat next to me. He leans in close to my body, "So, you're saying that you don't want me at all? Mind, body, and spirit?" He says. I exhale. "That's what I thought princess. You're probably wet right now just thinking about me."

And damn it, he was right.

"Alex, I love you. Fate chose us. So, we are destined to be together."

"How can you love me when you don't even know me?" I say. Roman strokes the side of my cheek.

"That's just how this world works, sweetheart."

"Okay, great. In your world. Now can you just take me home?" I ask him annoyed. He shakes his head. "No. For your safety. You have to stay in the pack house."

"I hate this." I open the door, "Just show me where I'll be sleeping tonight."

Roman leads me down a hallway and we stop in front of a huge door. Roman opens it and I see a King size bed, I step in and marvel at how beautiful it is. Light pink walls accented in white, with beautiful painting hung on the wall, a huge TV facing the bed, and not to mention the gorgeous balcony with a view of the backyard. "It's beautiful." I exclaim. "I'm glad you like it. My sister picked most of this stuff."

Roman begins to scratch the back of his neck, "Well, I'll see you in the morning." He says to me. "Goodnight." I reply. He walks out and shuts the door.

Then all of a sudden I hear a small knock at the door. I open it to see a little girl. "Hi there." I say softly. She takes my hand and leads me to a door at the end of the hall. I kneel in front of her. "Thank you." I say to her.

I knock before I enter. "Hello?" I call. I look around but see that the bedroom is empty; which is twice the size as mine. He must have the master suite. "Roman?" I call. I notice a breeze coming from the door, which leads out onto a balcony like mine. I walk towards it and see Roman looking straight ahead.

I lean on the balcony next to Roman, but facing the opposite direction. "I'm sorry for what I said." I say to him. He shrugs, "It's okay. I understand your frustration. But, you have to realize that your safety, Alex, is now my priority."

"Ok. It's just hard for me to trust someone that I barely know." I say to him. "I guess we just need to get to know one another better." He turns to look at me. "Your wish is my command."
