It took her a short amount of time for her to find the house that she would call home for some months. It was a little difficult to locate, even with the directions that Ivan had sent her. She spotted the house as she drove down the long driveway, it was bigger than the other houses she had stayed in before though she wasn't complaining about that. She'd always wanted to own a house like this for herself. Maybe after her mission she could see if the company would sell it.
She pulled up a few feet from the house and just sat there for a moment as she took the place in. It was beautiful, the large stones that created the house were covered in different types of plants, from ivy to wisteria. Something about the place called to her, resonated with her.
A contempt sigh left her mouth as she opened the door of her car, the corners of her lips turned upwards as she stepped onto the gravel and retrieved her bags. Though her smile didn't last long as she picked up the scent of wolves, it seemed that the wolves from the dinner had followed her all the way here. She closed her eyes, pushing the boot closed as she hitched a backpack up her shoulder.
Alvara opened her eyes as she locked her car, she noticed movement in her periphery but didn't look their way. There wasn't any threat to her as things stood and she couldn't blame them from coming to check on the new kid in town. They had their packs to keep safe after all. Her new home was built in the little patch of neutral land between the two packs, the neutral territory carried on towards the towns main area, splitting the packs territories right in two. Alvara was now next door neighbours with both packs. It was obvious that was why they had chosen this house for her.
Ignoring the two sets of wolves watching her, she headed into the house all too eager to take a look around. She abandoned her bags at the bottom of the stairs on her way into the kitchen.
She stood in shock as she looked around at the brand new cupboards and appliances, all in matching shades of mulberry, dark grey and black. It was very stylish and set up almost as if it was a showroom. The fridge was one of those fancy ones with an ice and water machine. There was an island in the middle of the room with four stools set two on a side. The other two sides of the island were filled with different types of glasses, and much to Alvara's pleasure. Different types of alcohol. She popped the top off of an expensive looking bourbon and breathed in the scent with a smile.
"Me and you will be best friends." She said with a chuckle.
After placing the bottle back onto its shelf she left the room, heading to the next. The first thing she spotted was a large flatscreen tv, she didn't watch TV often, but she did appreciate a good movie from time to time. There was a huge corner sofa that could fit at least six people, not that she had the friends to sit with. There was a coffee table in front of the sofa and a small side table against one of the walls that housed the remotes and a small empty vase. She sat down on the edge of the sofa for a moment before nodding to herself and standing up. The last two doors downstairs lead to a small washroom and a toilet, even these two rooms seemed to be newly decorated.
She grabbed her bags on the way upstairs, excited to see what would be her bedroom for the next few months. All she really wanted was a comfortable bed, she didn't need much else. The first room that she found was a spacious wet room, there was a glass panel going halfway across the room, behind it was a waterfall shower with a small shelf built into the wall. Opposite the shower are two sinks with a light up mirror covering the space above them. She was glad to have a shower in the house, they were a lot quicker than baths and that could be quite important in her line of work.
The second room she checked had a double bed in the middle with two bedside tables, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. There was a window on the other side of the room showing the driveway she had driven along.
