Prolouge

The cheer athletics tryouts had just finished and we where about to be let into the room with the team sheets. I was super confident that I would make cheetahs or even Wildcats! I have been on cheetahs for years and I think I did really well this year. Just then a loud voice snapped me out of my thoughts. The voice belonged to coach brad "listen up kids! We are about to go into the room that holds your new teams, I would appreciate a orderly fashion in the room. Okay!" Coach brad announced before opening the door where the stream of kids started flowing through eager to find out their new team! As I walked through the door with my friend Payton we eagerly walked over to the cheetahs sheet and looked for our names. Payton let out a excited sequel as she found her name on th cheetahs sheet but it soon merged into a frown as she realised my name wasn't on the sheet. "Come on Pey let's go check Wildcats." I told her hopefully. We walked over to the Wildcats sheet and to our surprise my name wasn't on the Wildcats sheet either. "Lets go ask coach brad." Peyton suggested. So as we walked towards coach brad scenarios rushed through my head. They forgot my name, I was on a different team but then it dawned on me, I could be an alternate but no I can't be can I? Soon as we got to coach brad I asked "coach brad why am I not on any of the team lists?" He replied with "go look at that list over there." While pointing at a list that didn't have a group of people huddled around it. Peyton and I strolled over and found what we where looking for.

But there was no double teaming list but there was a alternate list. An then I looked at the top it was what I guessed and this meant one thing, I am an alternate and I Jamie Andries is NEVER an alternate!
