Chapter one

I wake up to a warm summer sea breeze flowing through my curtains making me groan because now I have to get up. The sun shining on my face making my brows crease. I look out my bedroom window and watch the waves crash against the cliffs. Basic am I right. I get the smell of homemade pancakes curling under my nose and making me inhale to sweet sweet smell. I take in a deep breath and finally walk into my bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. I grimace at the site infront of me not pleased to what I see. I mean we cant all look good and cheerful when we wake up, give me a break. I walk back into my bedroom and stroll over to my wardrobe. My indecisive self stares at the clothes infront of me and coming up with a red hoodie, black leggings and my white high top converse.

I enter the kitchen to see my mam, dad and little brother sitting at the table having their breakfast. My mom always makes the best pancakes so I'm very happy to see that theres a very high stack of them on a plate just for me. "Dont forget you're back in school Monday and you still have to go shopping for new clothes hunny" my mom says while her nose is glued to whatever shes reading. I sigh at the thoughts of having to go back to school.
I head back up to my room and belly flop onto my bed. I grab my phone from my nightstand and go to text Joy and Leah. Joy and I have been friends since we were 3 years old and Leah moved to our school two years ago and we all got along together have have been close ever since.
                        
                       The squad
Jasmine: hey wanna go to the mall, I need new clothes for school :/

Joy: I need to get stationary so I'll go :)

Leah: I'm down, I love clothes !!!

Well now that that's sorted i grab my car keys and just as I'm about to head out the door I yell into my mom that I'm going shopping and close the door behind me. I head to Joy's house first seems as she lives closer to me and the Leah's, she lives right around the corner from the mall.
"I was thinking... how about we try a new look this year, you know go out of our comfort zone be bold". Leah says excitedly. "Leah I dont want a new style I'm quite happy with what i have sorry to inform you". I say back to her in a tired and bored tone. "Come on jazz pleaseee I think a new look would be good for you Joy help me out here". "I am not getting involved if Jasmine wants to stick with her old self then I'm happy if shes happy" I smile in the rearview mirror at her, she knows I hate this topic. "Finee" Leah poutes like a child slumping back into the passenger seat.

"Leah please you are killing us ! No more shops" joy pleads put to our shopaholic bestfriend. "Ok I tell you what I want to go to a few more shops how about you two babys sit over at that little cafe and I'll meet back up with you in a bit". "Thank you" I hold her by the shoulders and look into her eyes as if she just made all my dreams come through. Joy and I headed over to the cafe and I sat down at a table near the back beside a window, Joy went straight up to the counter to order us ice coffees and a chocolate muffin each.  I know we are basic.
I'm having a pretty good day with my friends beside being dragged around by Leah, until I look at out window and my heart drops when I see who walks by the cafe. Fml.

Soooooo that's the first chapter out of the way. I'm sorry if it's a little boring but like I said this is my first story and I'm still learning how to do this. PLEASE leave your thoughts on what u have so far and tell me what you would like to see throughout this book. I love getting ideas from others minds and it will help alot !!. I will update as often as possible and I wont leave this book unfinished i want it complete :)
