Marshal
I was on a run today, I was running to see the only friends I have. Poppy and Peanut, the two girls I've known since we were kids. They KNOW me, unlike the other villagers on this island. "Hey there Marshal! We're so happy to see you!" The cheerful squirrel, Peanut, had said. She always was someone I'd love to be with, her personality made me smile (which is weird because people don't really make me happy.) "Yes, hello Marshal. Pleasure to see you today!" The more calm girl, Poppy, had greeted me. Poppy was the girl who'd help me study. From what used to be my tutor, turned into one of the people I care about the most. She would help me in school by helping me read my books, I am dyslexic so this was really helpful. "What do you guys want to do? I think we should-" I was cutoff by a voice. "Hello, Marshal..I'm the new guy..We agreed on going to the theaters...?" Oh. Forgot about him. I guess I'm stuck with this guy, what was his name again? Rahman or some bullcrike like that. "Oh, right. Sorry guys, got to go.." "Marshal! You made plans with another animal, and you're not going to hang with your besties?" Peanut had mumbled. "I'm sorry, I'll be back at 4:00. I promise!" I had hugged both of them and ran off. "Hey. Make this quick, I have to meet up with others, sulky." I informed Rayman (or whatever). "You could of just stayed with them then, crisp. I really don't mind." "Well, Rang, I am a person of my word, I will go with you." "Oh, it's Raymond by the way.." I guess that helped me, Raymond, that's his name, huh? It's an alright name.

We both made our way to the movie theater, whilst we walk, Raymond tries to start small talk. "So how long have you been here Marshal? This place seems pretty awesome if I also say so myself. It's really beautiful, just like your face, haha." The stupid kitty asked. "Be quiet you flirt. I've been here since I was a kit. It's a decent island, I can agree." I told him, my cheeks going a tee bit more pink than they already were. "Okay Marsh, let's watch...uhh..a horror movie? I'm not sure, I don't really watch movies, I never had the time. I work too much, but since I just moved in, they gave me the time to unpack. So it means I don't have to work for a small period of time." "Ah, makes a bit of sense. We can watch a horror movie, but I get scared pretty easily. I'd prefer to watch something like, comedy? Horror is not my thing at all." "That's fine with me, let's go in, I'll pay for the food, if you don't mind, may you pay for the tickets? "Sure, I'd rather pay for the tickets than the snacks any other day, lmao."
And with that, we walked in.
We ended up watching something pretty shitty, but that's what made it funny. We were done, it was weird, all the other animals when they talk to me, never left the same feeling this cat did. The other animals, I could easily just push away (besides my friends of course), but that cat, was different. It felt like he actually wanted to talk to me, unlike the people around me.
That was a good feeling, a feeling I only got from Peanut and Poppy...but I did just meet this man..
I don't even know how old he is. All I knew is that I wanted to stay with him, even though I had to go back to my friends, I didn't want to leave his side. Whatever, I think I'll get going.
