Shawn's POV:

I approached the microphone terrified at what might happen next. I lean in to to talk my voice is very quite at first then I say I wrote this song for a special girl the song isn't finished but I hope it is enough for her to understand.

  Mckinley's POV:

Shawn started to strum the strings of his guitar and then. He begins to sing

" I love it when you just don't care

I love it when you dance like there's nobody there

So when it gets hard, don't be afraid

We don't care what them people say

I love it when you when you don't take no

I love it when you do what you want cause you just said so.

Let them all go home,we out late

We don't care what them people say

We don't have to be ordinary

Make your best mistakes

Cause we don't have the time to be sorry

So baby be the life of the party!

Shawn then said thank you all for listening to me sing he stepped down while everyone clapped for him he sat down beside me and I gave him a hug and said Shawn that was a great song when did you write it? He said about 3 days ago. I told him how much I liked it but I really had one thing on my mind and that was who was the "special girl" he wrote it for?

  Shawn's POV:

After I left the stage I wondered if Mckinley knew the song was for her or if she even thought about who it was for. I couldn't get it outta my head. So right before we left the restaurant I asked Mckinley if she would come outside with me. As we walked out I took her to a little swing set that I decorated just for this moment. We sat down on the swing and I couldn't find out how to start the conversation so we sat in a silence that never happened with us we always had something to talk about.
