Mckinley's pov.
It was just a few hours before my birthday dinner with Shawn,Matt,Nash,Carly and Abby I was super excited and scared at the same time because Shawn said he had a big surprise for me. Me and Shawn have always been super close practically bestfriends and he never tries to surprise me like ever. So as I searched my closet for something nice but not completely fancy to wear my phone started to ring I ran over to it and saw it was Shawn calling. So I picked up and said what do you want loser? Knowing that I was just kidding Shawn said I'll pick you up around 8 is that okay? It's fine with me I replied and hung up.
Shawn's POV:
Tonight I had to dress nice so I could impress Mckinley I told her I had a suprised but I didn't tell her what it was but I've gained feelings for her over the past few years we spent together and tonight was the night I planed to ask her to be my girlfriend! So I went to the closet and put on jeans and my boots and searched for a shirt then I found it I would wear a nice plaid flannel button up shirt. I knew Mckinley would like that because she told me a few times before she loves when guys wear flannels.
