(Set in Modern Times)

I looked up at the apartment door, I raced inside, almost skidding on the slippery hardwood floor. "What have you done?" I asked him slowly.

"I did it for us!" He answered.

I began to sob again, clutching the Ruby Talisman around my throat. "dear..." Freddie started as he wrapped his long arms around me. His touch was gentle. He was the only one who ever paid attention to me.

I walked into the change room and pulled on a big, baggy sweater, a pair of faded jeans and scruffy runners. I smile a little at the memory of my father.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Freddie opened the door slightly and poked his head inside. I dropped my head down to my feet to try and avoid eye contact.

I heard a sigh drift from his lips as he entered the room. I turned away from him and faced the wall. He gripped his slender fingers around my waist and turned me around to face him.

He lifted his hand up in front of my face and used his thumb to wipe my tears. He then spoke in his soothing voice, "you don't need to cry."

I sniffled turned my head away from him. "Please..." I looked up at him and spoke, "I... I... I forgot my line." The expression of worry drifted off his face as he giggled. Laughs erupted from the crew members.

"Cut!" The director said sharply as a sheet with the script was handed to me. Freddie shook his head as he made eye contact with me. "We're gonna continue this tomorrow..." The director said.

Freddie walked over to me and spoke, "you want me to drive you home?" I smiled at the offer. "Sure," I answered. Freddie took me to his car and we drove back to my house.

"How long have we known each other, now?" He asked.

I smiled, "since we were kids."

"I've enjoyed every single moment of it." We continued driving as Freddie's long arm stretched out as he turned on the radio.

He started gently bobbing his head to the tune as he turned to me and blushed. "We were just kids when we fell in love, not knowing what it was..." The radio played Ed Sheeran's Perfect.

We got to my house and we entered. "Come in," I invited. He smiled and gently pulled his coat from his shoulders and laid it on the couch.

"Would you like something? Tea? Coffee?" I offered walking into the kitchen.

"A tea would be great, love," He said following me. I poured the boiling water out of the kettle into two teacups for the both of us.

We walked into the dining room and sat at the table. Freddie took a sip from his tea and smiled relieved,"you always make the best tea."

"I'm glad you like it." We continued drinking our tea together when Freddie spoke, "what do you wanna do?"

I looked up at him, "anything you like..."

Freddie smiled as he placed he tea cup back on the wooden dining table and took out his phone. He opened up Spotify and played a song, it was the same song we heard when we were driving. "I love this song." I said gently bopping to the beat.

"I have an idea... Why don't we act out the song?" Freddie suggested.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I know how the video goes darling, I'll be Ed and you can be the other girl!" Freddie was very excited about doing this.

"Can you sing it?" I asked. He held my hand, "off course I will."

"I found a love, for me. Darling just dive right in and follow my lead." Freddie sang beautifully. He sat back down at the table and faced me, his smiled at me warmly.

He continued singing as he stood up, he held his hand out to me. I took it as he walked out onto the carpet. He made a skiing position as he encouraged me to do so also.

He had the most beautiful voice I had ever heard. He then laid on the carpet and pretended he was making a show angel. "Come on, Darling," He pulled me down to the ground as I did the same.

He got up and faced to the other end of the room, he picked up my acoustic guitar and sat down on the couch as he strummed, he didn't know how to play the song which is something I found funny.

"Follow me," he held my hand as he took me onto the carpet again to dance. He cupped his hands on my waist and pulled me in closer towards him. He hugged me tightly.

"Why aren't you singing anymore?" I asked in a whisper.

"Because, I need to tell you something," He leaned in closer and kissed me on the cheek. "I love you." He pulled back and kissed me on the lips. His lips were soft.

"Wow..." I breathed suprised. I would never have thought Freddie would've liked me.

"Are you okay with that, Louise?" He asked.

I smiled warmly and spoke, "Of course I am."

He smiled widely as he lifted me up in his arms. He hugged me tightly. "I've met an angel in person and she is perfect, I don't deserve this, you look perfect tonight."

If you guys have not seen this music video and song, it is perfect. I love it so much and I would totally recommend it. I'm usually not one for modern music but this is amazing. Also the skiing and snow angel parts will make sense if you see the video. Thank you for reading, my darlings!❤❤❤
