The storms of Lust were treacherous. The rain hit their faces, the lightning illuminating the scene, the wind blowing everything out of proportion. The woman's screams soothed Lucifer like a lullaby. What irritated the Devil was the child's screams. "Give her back!" the mother cried.
The Devil held the bastard over the abyss. "Kill her," he said.
"Lucifer-" Greed started.
"Cast away her soul!" Lucifer cried again.
Greed sighed, and did as his creator said. "Don't you think that was a bit unnecessary, Luce?" Lust asked.
"As she was an adulterer in life, she was one in death," Lucifer said.
"You were the one who assaulted her," Greed said. "This is your consequence."
"Enough, Greed."
"Lucifer, consider," Lust said, walking up to him. "This child is your spawn. Imagine the power she harnesses."
He looked at the child, which was wrapped in a scrap of black cloth. Her eyes glowed red. "You know, Lusty, you might just be right," he turned to Lust, "alright. We'll keep her. But I haven't got the first clue as to how to take care of a child."
"Well, we can't let Envy take care of her, Sloth wouldn't be able to, Pride will refuse if we ask, and Wrath doesn't have the patience to take care of her for more than fifteen minutes."
"Hm, you might be right," he stared at her.
"Me? Absolutely not, I have a life outside of babysitting."
He sighed. "This is what I get by personifying the seven deadly sins."
One Thousand Years Later
It was quickly apparent to Lucifer that saving Lilith was the best decision he had ever made. His young daughter quickly became the light in his darkness, his one true love. He, along with Lust, Greed, Wrath, and Gluttony, taught the girl everything about their world, maths and sciences and earthly literature. She slowly began to grow. She grew long, fiery red hair. She grew black, leathery wings, like her father once had(except his weren't as hellish).
Slowly, she became curious about the outside world. Greed would frequently visit earth, come back with stories and little trinkets: jewelry, lighters, cards, et cetera. He'd bring something back for her every single time. Her favorite thing was a black leather jacket that was decked out with silver spikes and a skull and crossbones on the back. She treasured it, wore it all the time.
Greed was her favorite uncle. He was tall with slicked-back black hair, and was always well-dressed from the human world. While her father tried to shelter her from the 'evils of humanity,' Greed embraced her curiosity, he told her everything. Eventually, Lucifer caved, and gave her stories of his own experiences.
This only spiked her curiosity, but she was never allowed to go out.
The rest of her sins aunts and uncles gave their experiences as well, except for Sloth and Gluttony, who have never been to the human world before. Sloth was short and fat, with a thick ring of hair around his head. He was asleep most of the time, except when he was hungry or sadistic enough to go roaming Avarice and do sadistic things. Gluttony was tall and fat, with long, unkempt black hair. He was possibly one of the cruelest of the Sins. He was hungry all the time, and when there wasn't any food nearby, he'd personify, then consume, the souls of Gluttony(the third layer of hell).
"I don't get it, why won't they just let me go out?" she asked Wrath one day.
Wrath was an older man, greying, middle-aged, stern. "Have you considered that there's a reason for that?"
