It was an early summer morning and Kokichi had just finished his chores. As he was going to his room, he heard a ring coming from his phone. Kokichi ran to his phone, it was Saihara-Chan! "Hello?" Kokichi said, as he picked up the phone. "Hey Kokichi…" Shuichi said quietly "Do you want to come to my house? We can watch some Danganronpa!" Shuichi sounded really excited, so there was no way Kokichi could turn him down like that… "Uh, sure, let me get dressed and I'll be right over!" Kokichi knew Shuichi was probably grinning, he was always super happy to have someone watch his danganronpa show with him. Kokichi didn't really see the appeal, it was a little too gruesome. Kokichi really only watched it when shuichi did, truth be told, he didn't want to upset Shuichi. Mainly because Kokichi had a huge crush on him. Kokichi excitedly pulled on a t-shirt and jeans with some sneakers, which he forgot to tie. He headed to Shuichi's house, and upon arriving, he finally noticed his shoes were untied. Probably because he tripped and fell, scraping his knee on the pavement. "Ah! Kokichi!" Shuichi ran over and helped him up "O-ow… thanks Saihara-chan…" "Eh, no problem, let's go inside, we have bandages." "Okay." The two boys headed inside, heading straight for the bathroom. "Here." Shuichi handed Kokichi a bandage. "Thank you!" Kokichi gave a small smile before applying the bandage to his knee. "We can go upstairs now, I already have the TV on!" "Uh, okay Saihara-chan." Shuichi led Kokichi up the stairs to his room. As to be expected, Shuichi had a lot of posters and small figures from the Danganronpa series. Kokichi thought it was a bit of an obsession. Shuichi excitedly hopped onto his bed, patting the space beside him, signaling Kokichi to sit with him. Kokichi, of course, sat next to him. The intro to the show started, and like a moth to a flame, Shuichi was already staring at the screen excitedly. Kokichi was also invested, but not in the screen, he was starting and Shuichi. Kokichi knew he would never have the courage to speak up, he just kind of wished Shuichi would stop staring at the screen and see how much Kokichi loved him… Damn, he realized, love? "Am I in love?" Kokichi thought to himself. "No way… I can't be…" Kokichi began getting so deep into thought, he didn't hear Shuichi asking him a question. "Kokichi? Uh, are you okay? You keep staring off." "A-ah! I-I'm fine!" Damn, he was really flustered. "Okay, also… I wanted to tell you something." "Huh? What is it?" Kokichi's heart began pounding, what if he actually does like him back? "Ah, actually, after we finish watching I'll tell you." "Uhm, o-okay-!" Kokichi felt dissatisfied with Shuichi's answer. After the show finished, Kokichi turned to Shuichi. "So, what did you want to say?" Kokichi could feel his face getting warm "Well, I've decided that I want to sign up for the next killing game!" "You wh-what?" "I want to be in danganronpa 53!" "No! You can't!" Kokichi could feel a lump in his throat,"I-I can't let you!" "Huh? Why not?" "Because… Because I love you! And if you die there I'll be lonely and I can't imagine my life without you!" "You l-love me!?" Shuichi also became flustered. "I love you too.." "If you love me, please… don't leave… stay here, danganronpa is too dangerous…" Kokichi's voice began to break, the tears forming in his eyes. He was happy and worried all at once. He finally was able to tell Shuichi how he felt, but Shuichi was about to try to join a KILLING game. "Okay, I won't, I'll stay here… with you." Shuichi grabbed Kokichi's hand gently and smiled.
