Brianna

"Dont brake his neck " I said while Izzy held his head straight taking the picture.

"Im not...God" He said and they took the picture.

It was easter and we were all taking pictures. I already took my pictures with Harmony and she was taking a nap.

Jayden was obviously getting frustrated with Izzy's stupidity and I was too.

"All done" The photographer said and we got up to leave.

Izzy payed the man and we left to my parents house. Once we got there Izzy took Jayden in the house while I got a sleeping Harmony out.

Once we headed inside my nose filled with the smell off collards, green bean casserole, Mac n cheese, and best of all biscuits. I loved when she cooked, it was my childhood all over again.

I laid Harmony down on Cameron's lap as he talked to his new girlfriend. I was glad he got a new girlfriend cause she wrecked up my relationship for a while.

I then gave Jayden to my granddad and they played with each other while I exited the livingroom.

"Hey yall" I said walking into the kitchen. All eyes went on me as Izzy followed. Lots of the family didn't know Izzy witch I disliked, but it was my fault.

"Hey" They all said back with smiled before resuming to there conversations

"Well dang" Izzy said behind me as we went to speak with my momma

"Hey ma" I said taking the bowl from her and mixing whatever type of mix was in the bowl.

"Hey, how you been?" She asked.

"I mean, I've been good. Jayden sleeps better now and harmony is doing good with her vegetables" She chuckled and nodded her head

"What about you and Izzy, y'all doing okay?" She asked between the both of us with a concerned look

"Yess, why?" I asked leaning on the counter

"Because every time I ask how y'all are, you only bring up the kids" she said pointing the knife between the both of us

"Yes ma, we are good. Nothing we need to talk about" I said with raised eyebrows

"I'm serious now, I hate y'all too having to come to us or your friends for your own problems. That's been going on too much in this relationship and I am tired of it" she expressed herself while cutting the chicken

"Aight ma, put the knife down" Izzy said slowly sliding it from between her fingers

"Sounds like you need to get your feelings out" I said and she sighed

"Having this big family is hard,to there is always something going on. I hate when people have to come to me for it, I know I should be happy about giving out the advice, but it's hard. I'm getting old, I wanna die knowing that my family will be okay. I wanna die knowing that y'all will be happy." She said and her lip trembled

"Aw, don't cry momma" Izzy said wrapping his arms around her

I didn't know why she always kept to herself, but now I guess I know why. I did often come to her when I had my problems by I didn't know it would turn into something like this.

She had a point though, she was getting older and her giving out advice was gonna end soon. My lip soon trembled thinking about I all, I was becoming overwhelmed at the money and I needed some space from everyone until I was under control.

I exited the kitchen and went to the car, I laid my head on the dashboard until I could get myself together. Izzy later came out and opened my door.

"What's wrong momma's" He wrapped his arms around me leaning into the car

"I don't know" I said and he laid his head on mine

"Just calm down, your overwhelmed" He said and I nodded before stepping out of the truck and wiping my face. He pecked my lips before leading me back into the house.

I got stares as soon as I walked in, I shrugged them off and went back to the kitchen with momma.

"You okay?" I asked she nodded finishing the casserole

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine... go enjoy yourself, don't be under me all day" she gave a small chuckled and I pulled her in for a hug

"I love you momma" I said kissing her cheek

"I love you too." She said and wrapped her arms around me

something short, sorry for the wait
