Chapter 35

(Ion remember Brianna last name so Ima make one up)

-A year later

Izzy

After picking everyone up we headed to the restaurant Brianna and Harmony has been begging for, for the past 3 weeks.

Opening the door for Brianna, I quickly went to Harmony's side and helped her out. While Brianna got a sleeping Jayden situated, I gave Harmony a little pep talk before we went inside.

"Remember babygirl,  ask to go to the bathroom and for her ring I with you. When you come back I need you to give this to me, uncle Chris is gonna give it to you. Then we can go from there" She nodded in response and I pecked her forehead before helping her down.

"Wassup" I said dapping up Chris

"Nun much man, tryna stay up there"I nodded understanding what he meant. He needed some money, the people he needed to buy from never shows up so he can't get any money and boss is getting on his head for it.

I have him two Hundred dollar bills and he gave me another bro I hug. I understood what he was going through but he needs a job now.

Money is coming in slow witch is holding him back from paying bills, getting groceries, seeing family, even preparing dinner.

"Why don't you just get a job or something? You know, so something that you will actual like and not getting that will make you miserable." He gave a slow nod while watching Toni tend to there son CJ who just turned one

"Think about it" I said and placed Harmony in the chair beside me

"Daddy, who's goings man take me too school next week?" She raised her eyebrows

"We'll talk about it later" I handed her a coloring page and split the crayons with her and Jayden.

"Hello, my name is Wanda and I'll be your waitress for tonight. What can I get for ya?" She said with a wide smile

After ordering our food we talked until it came.

"So, what y'all do today?" Toni asked with a smirk

"Nothing really, hung out with Chris" I hunched my shoulders then winked at Chris

"Momma has cancer" Toni said with her head down

"W-What? What kind?" Brianna asked

"Breast Cancer. We have to take her to chemotherapy starting Wednesday" She added with her eyes focused on her twiddling fingers

"Well we can talk about this later we have dinner to eat" I spoke as the waitress came with our food in platters.

After eating and socializing it was time, by now I was sweating and my leg was shaking.

"You okay?" She held my hand and I stopped shaking

"Yeah, I was just thinking about something" she nodded and went back to her conversation.

Harmony made at contact with me and I nodded towards the bathroom. She gave a jolly smile and tapped Brianna.

"Can I use the bathroom mommy?" She tapped Brianna

"Can you wait five minutes?" She frantically school her head and Brianna sighed standing up

"I'll be back" I nodded and went back to Chris

"So when you planning on doing it?" I asked

"Ion know man, I'm nervous" He sighed

" Well wait until you are financially stable " He nodded and sat into thought

"Aight"

After placing tissue on the toilet I helped Harmony into the toilet seat.

"Mommy, can I ask you a question" She asked with a huge smile

"Yeah wassup" I helped her wipe herself

"Do you really love daddy?" I raised my eyebrows at her question

"Yeah, why'd you ask?" I placed the tissue into the toilet and helped her pull up her stockings and pull down her dress

"Because daddy told me how much he loves you yesterday" I smiled at the thought of him explaining her his feelings

"On really" She nodded and hold both of my hands

"Oh... He told me to tell you thank you" She said and unlocked the bathroom stall

"For what?" I helped her climb into the bathroom counters and wash her hands

"Ask him" She dried her hands and ran out of the bathrooms. Following her to the table I helped her into the chair.

We had been here for a while and I was ready to go at this point. I sighed and rested my head on the table starting to fight my sleep.

I heard Izzy give out a loud groan and I shot my head up. I saw him rub his pants legs and Jayden passed him something. He took my hand and stood me up from my seat.

He lowered himself down on his knees and my hands instantly met my mouth and tears down my face.

"Brianna. You are the best thing that ever happened to me. I am truly thankful that God gave me someone as good as you. I truly love you with all of my heart and I thank you for everything that you gave me. Jayden and Harmony. Even though she don't yours your the best mothers could ever have. I love you, Brianna Chanel Woodard will you marry me?" I nodded and showed my tears

"Yes, Yes I will Mary you Israel" He stood up and said the ring on my finger then kissed me

" I love you "

"I love you too"
