Jacob pov
I walked in and saw a girl staring out the window she had curly dirty blond hair. She was wearing jeans with a plain long black sleeve shirt on with black vans. She seemed like she was in deep thought. I walked over and took a seat next to her, she didn't noticed me until she saw me wave my hand in front of her face. She looks at me, god now I need to hear how a freak I am with an anime shirt on. Well I don't care I love anime judge me then judge me. I was waiting for her to say something but instead she looks excited. Then restrained herself from showing the excitement. She started asking me questions about me. When we went to first period she sat by the window. I walked over and took the desk next to hers. She probably day dreams during school to look out the window I thought to myself. Then a boy can in he sat behind Amy and told her if I was her boyfriend and what happen to him. Where they dating? Then I heard a laugh it was Amy laughing. Then she said " you wish nick and we're not dating". I think she said but really first day of school and people are already shipping me with other people. I looked to see the history teacher looking right at me but then turned around and wrote something on the board.

Lunch Jacobs pov

I walked in the cafeteria and was looking for Amy but couldn't find her. I walked outside but still didn't see her. I decided to eat in the library. I walked in the library and saw a girl, I looked closely and saw Amy. I walked and sat down next to her. She looked from her book.
"Hi" Amy said

"Hey what are you reading?" I asked.

"Ten tiny breaths" she told me.

"That sound like a good book so why don't you sit in the cafeteria?" I asked

"Well there's no one to eat lunch with, April is in the other lunch period so I'm left alone with the popular people." She said

"Well now you have someone to sit next to" I said.
She looked shocked but then gave me a bright smile and said thank u. I got up and pulled her arm up so she can stand.

"Get your stuff" I told her.
She obeyed and I brought her to the cafeteria so we can eat with everyone else. Everyone was staring at us with like we had 2 heads. I see Nick staring at me before giving me glare and mouthed something like "back off". I ignored him and we sat down and ate peacefully but that didn't last much before Nick came over. He looked at Amy with gogo eyes but she grunted and went back to eating. He then looked at me.

"Nice shirt dork" he said laughing.

Amy looked at him.

"Don't call him that asshole" she said

I was shocked no one ever stood up for me.

"Don't call your boyfriend that"Nick said going to touch her hand, but I pushed his hand off before he can touch her. He got up and grabbed me by the collar of my shirt. I closed my eyes shut waiting for the pain of his fist but the pain never came and he let go of my shirt. I opened my eye to see Amy her hand clinched and was a little red. I looked at the floor to see that Nick was on the floor with a deep red mark on his face.
