I was so happy when I noticed where I was. I was about to meet the prince of my dreams. Once I do, I will be able to marry him and we will live happily ever after together. However, I swear that this wasn't his palace - was it?!! I looked around. Everything in this room was gold! Well, apart from the paintings on the walls. Everything seemed royal. In fact, it was so royal that soon, I began to change my mind. Perhaps this was the prince's castle. Maybe this was the palace I visited when I was at the ball last night!
Everything seemed perfect. There was a lot of room to spread out in. It was all crystal clear. Well, at least until a heard a grumpy voice of an old man. It was the king, his majesty! "What are you doing here, young lady? Looking for the shoe?" he asked me, cheerfully. "Why, yes, your majesty!" I replied in a joyful tone, hoping to marry my prince without my stepmother noticing.
But instead of saying "yes you may try on the slipper", the king replied angrily, "Too bad! We already have a young beautiful lady who is already getting ready to marry my son!". His cruel words shocked me. My heart was torn into a thousand pieces and cut deeply. LADY TREMAINE! THE KING! They're both working together!
Deeply upset, I rushed back home and collapsed next to the broken glass slipper. "Oh what have I done? If only I hadn't been to the ball last night!" I cried out in pain as blood started dripping from my nose. I collected the pieces of glass and tears rushed down my face. My hands were all filled with scratches as I struggled to reach my bed. I was so distressed that I couldn't meet my prince again. In fact, I was even more upset when I discovered that my true love is marrying another girl. So, without thinking about it anymore, I sobbed myself to sleep.
The next day...
I struggled to wake up today. I had no self control yesterday and just cried my tears out. But today, I will find a way to get my prince back! I just know it! I got out of bed and did all my chores for the day before escaping outside with the help of the Fairy Godmother. Soon, I was back at the palace, not knowing what to do or how to get my beloved prince back. I just knew that I would get him back. I was certain of it. After all, dreams really do come true!
I was about to explore some more when all of a sudden, a voice yelled out, "Hello? Is anyone inside my palace?". This was it. It was him. My heart beated as fast as it could. I was about to meet my actual true love and finally try on the glass slipper without any question.
