Skin Review

This model has been reused over and over again with other skins like Crusher, Wonder, and probably the most popular of the bunch Power Chord, but this take on her colors is actually quite nice. The black with bits of red go really well together, and I think it looks nice. I'm not a big fan of the white style, but it's pretty alright. Though the sleek black suit looks very nice if you're going for an all-black theme for your squad, it does draw in a lot of attention in Party Royale game mode. Chances are, you'll be flocked by players with Meowscles and Drift skins wanting to give you their hearts as soon as you spawn in, so I wouldn't recommend it for that game mode. Otherwise, it's pretty neat. When emoting, she remains relatively emotionless, keeping a straight face a majority of the time. I get the feeling that she has a bright, happy side hidden beneath a cool, stern, possibly snide attitude. One face in particular, the open-mouthed smile, looks a bit odd, but otherwise, she's pretty cool.

Overall: 8/10. Good for stealth, but stay far away from Party Royale

Backbling Review

It's...eh. It's not really bulky, it's not too abstract, and it fits, but it doesn't really stand out. Then again, it isn't really supposed to, seeing as Shadow Ops and her counterpart Midnight Ops are obviously supposed to be secret operatives or spies of sorts, so looking at it from that angle, it's actually pretty good. It's standard, default color is black, but it has a white style too like Shadow Ops, which I do like (call me a hypocrite, I don't care).

Overall: 7/10. Looks good, but not fashion show worthy.

Is It Worth Buying?

Perhaps if it weren't so much, yes. Because Shadow Ops is part of a bigger set, she's worth a bit more, especially because the rest of the set doesn't come around into the item shop all that often (One of the parts of the set, the Shadow Ops Spray, was part of the Season 4 Battle Pass, meaning it will never return). If you're a new player looking to get the whole set, you're out of luck, but for anyone looking for a sleek skin that will definitely make your squad seem a bit more refined, this is a good pick.
