*Cecilia Solar

"Cecy, time to wake up!"

I groan as I roll over to look at my clock. 7:04 a.m, it reads. Why? Like who even said school should start so early.

"No, it's too early, Casper!" I holler back.

"The next person who will come to wake you up is Cyrus so you better wake up," Casper warns.

I groan again but get up anyway. If Cyrus comes to wake me up then someone is going to end up in the hospital. No joke. Last time he dumped a bucket of water on me and I chased him around the house. He ended up in the hospital that time because he tripped on the carpet in the hallway and sprained his ankle. All I could do was say 'Karma's a bitch' and laugh at my older brother.

We took him to the hospital for a temporary cast. He had to use crutches for three weeks.

I drag myself to my bathroom and take a twenty-minute hot shower.

After drying my hair and body, I dress in black skinny jeans and a white and purple large hoodie. I leave my waist-length hair down in waves. I tie my white high top converse shoes. I grab my iPhone Xs Max, my airpods, my backpack, and my jacket before going downstairs.

I barely got my iPhone Xs Max, I had been saving up for months and last month I was finally able to buy it. I didn't want to let my brothers buy it for me because I wanted to feel like I earned it.

"I'm ready," I announce as I rush into the kitchen. Cyrus already has breakfast ready for us. Usually Casper and Cyrus take turns making breakfast.

"Good morning, Bro."

I grab my stack of pancakes as we wait for Casper and Cecil.

"Don't forget that after school you have your hour session with Alec."

I nob as he reminds me. Again. Always talking about Alec.

Cecil and Casper soon join us and we quickly finish our pancakes.

Cecil and I head out the front door after saying our goodbyes.

"Bro, I'm taking my car because I have my session with Alec after school," I say to my twin.

"Okay, see you at school, then."

Cecil drives off first since his car is behind mine. His car is the same as mine but black.

It takes us 34 minutes to arrive at Rio High School. Which I like to call Hell. It's a big high school and they're not done with it. They are currently constructing a new FFA building and a Cosmetology Lab. The cafeteria just got remodeled with more seats and tables. Not like that matters to me since I eat in one of the empty classes. Yes, I can get in trouble but I leave the lights off and just watch Netflix and eat.

I park next to Cecil close to the J building since we have our first class in that building.

Since we got our schedule in the mail two weeks ago, all we need to do is wait for the bell to ring in twelve minutes or so.

"I'm going to chat with my friends. Will you be alright by yourself?" Cecil asks.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. See you in class."

I watch as he jogs over to his basketball friends.

Cecil has always loved sports but has a passion for basketball; just how I have a passion for Art, especially photography. He even taught me how to play most sports like soccer, basketball, and football. I'm not the best but I love playing the games.

My brothers may be popular because of their looks but I choose not to be. I don't like the attention and drama popularity attracts.

Yeah, some guys might hit on me but I ignore them. I've never been one for crowds and socializing. I like to stick to myself.

I place my Airpod Pros in my ears and let my rock playlist play.

I walk over to a table under a tree that is far away from other students.

I pull out my phone and it unlocks immediately with my face. For the next eight minutes or so I read 'Paid to Listen' by InvertedTriangles on Wattpad.

At 8:34 a.m, I put away my airpods, knowing that the bell will ring soon.

I get up and start walking into the school building.

My first class is Calculus with Mr. Red.

Mr. Red is a man in his late thirties with brown hair and brown eyes. He's kind of short but still taller than me.

I'm pretty short.

Math has always been one of my strong subjects.

Mr. Red makes us introduce ourselves since he said he didn't have anything planned for the first day, but to fill out our information in case of any emergency.

Cecil sat next to me in this class. I sit by the window that looks at the forest. Nice, I can probably draw the forest and any critters I see.

When it was my turn to say some facts about me, I stood up.

"My name's Cecilia Solar. I have three brothers. I love reading and photography. I'm pretty good at drawing. My favorite color is blue and I like to keep to myself." I state.

Me, being the person who notices everything, notices when a guy in the far corner is smiling at me.

I shrug it off as a usual weirdo.

All through the day, the classes were the same, all we had to do was introduce ourselves. I only had five classes with Cecil. I also noticed I had the smiling guy for most of my classes except one.

During lunch, I went to the cafeteria to get some pizza, chips and something to drink. Afterwards, I found a random class room and opened up Netflix. I started watching Storage Wars and munching on my hot cheetos chips.

Cecil and I didn't have the same lunch.

After lunch, the classes seem to pass rather quickly.

At 4:15 p.m, the last school bell rings, dismissing school.

"I'll be home before 9. Bye, Bro." I wave to Cecil as we're walking out of the school building.

I get in my car and drive the 40-minute drive to Alec's place.
