Rensaki was someone you had met online. To be frank, you hadn't known much about Rensaki. You just saw an advertisement for her art commissions online and messaged her about it. She liked the character you had given her to draw so much that she started talking with you a lot about art and character creation. Soon enough you two had been calling each other and texting nearly everyday, growing closer and closer as friends. She was a fun person to talk with, you had to admit that. Something else you had to admit though, something that had tugged at your insides for so long. You had a crush on Rensaki.

You could never admit this to her. She was short-tempered yet shy, and could be easily thrown off. You didn't want to ruin the friendship. Besides, Rensaki was flying out to visit you for the first time tomorrow, so you didn't want to make that awkward!

The night before Rensaki flew out to see you, you had been cleaning the house. You knew Rensaki wouldn't mind if it was dirty, but there was something in your brain telling you that whenever a guest comes to visit it should be nice. You didn't want to disgust Rensaki with your messy apartment anyways, so a bit of "spring cleaning" could do you some good.

After everything that you could remember to do the day before Rensaki flew out was done, you flopped into bed, undressing and sweating, as your room has no air conditioner. You picked up your phone from the nightstand next to your creaky old bed and rolled over onto your side, the screen lighting up your face and making you flinch. There were many missed messages from Rensaki. Quickly you opened them to see what she had to say, and urgent panic rushing through you, as you worried about safety her very much. Sighing, you realized the messages were just her being demanding. "Make sure you buy me lots of snacks before I fly out you little prick! <3" was one of the messages. You laughed and typed a happy reply, shut off your phone, and rolled onto your stomach, arms gently wrapping around a pillow as you began to drift into slumber.

Sunshine peaked your windows and birds chirped as you stretched and got out of bed clumsily, sliding you feet into some comfy slippers. You rubbed your eyes, feeling your sleepiness fade off and your everyday consciousness awaken. With a great yawn, you turned to grab your phone and check the time. For a moment you sat in silence, staring at the time, then you screamed and jumped up, running around your apartment, quickly showering, getting dressed decently, brushing your teeth, drying your hair, grabbing your car keys, and rushing out the door. You were about thirty minutes late to pick up Rensaki! As stressful as this moment was, it was almost funny too. Knowing Rensaki, you knew she'd never stop beating you up over this. Blushing slightly, you started up your car and began to zoom off towards the airport.

This was really it now, your brain told you. You were meeting your lifelong online buddy. This day had been waiting for you and vice versa.

Straight ahead was the airport. Cars sped in and out of the pick-up area. You slowly pulled in and stopped, stepping out of your car to look around for her. Your eyes glazed the area but you couldn't see her anywhere. You started to panic, what if she was captured, or forgot about you and went back, or something worse happened?

"Hey you." A finger poked your shoulder playfully and you jumped.

"Don't scare me like that!" You grumbled, chuckling a little. "Sorry I'm late, had a good sleep last night and overslept on ya,"

Rensaki rolled her eyes, "I called it. I knew you would be late," she began to ramble angrily, but not really true anger, just lovable joking anger, "you are always late when I call you! Your the manager of not picking up the phone when people call. You know that?" She giggled and stepped around your car to put her bag in the the backseat. Then, opened the shotgun door and got in, buckled up, and sat tight. "Are we going?"

You cleared your throat. "Right," you hopped into your car and quickly as possible pulled out of that traffic-jammed airport. "So, it's nice to finally meet you," You said, face bit reddened. She turned to look at you, as she'd been staring out the window this whole time.

"Oh, same," She smirked and crossed her arms, "You have a really nice car, I'm kind of jealous haha," Rensaki tapped the dashboard with her fingers.

"My parents told me I could buy any car I wanted as long as I could afford half of the price. They paid for the other half. I'm really grateful for this car," You explain to her. Her eyes look very understanding and complex. You turn your attention back to the road. "Alright, here we are. The apartment is kind of small so sorry about tha-"

Rensaki busts out of your car, kicking the door open. You screech at this, not wanting the car to ever get damaged in any kind of way. She then opens the back car door and reaches inside, gathering her belongings and turning towards the apartment, kicking the other car door shut. You stand there baffled at this but run up to the apartment door to unlock it and let her inside. When you get up to the door you pull your keys out of your pocket and dig on the chain for the right one. Rensaki stand there impatiently waiting for you to open the door, analyzing every facial movement you make.
