My ears were ringing and i could hear my heart pounding as i fought to keep the powers in check. it was so hard to do so though. i let out a gargled scream as i felt my vision blur once more. the powers weren't approving of me! i could feel them making every inch of my body numb in some way.
Concentrate.
A girls voice echoed in my head. What the hell?!?! was i going crazy by these powers now? i mean sure there over whelming but hearing voices?! my thoughts were pushed aside when i felt my body go up in flames! i screamed an ear deafening scream and started to thrash around.
LISTEN TO ME AND CONCENTRATE! You want to live don't you?
The voice ordered again. ITS KINDA HARD WHEN YOUR BEING BURNED ALIVE! I screamed in my head. My clothes starting to burn along with my body. I could hear yelling all around me and I could hardly understand them with my own screaming. The immense heat of the flames increased with each passing second. WHY ME?! all i wanted right now was for the death to come a lot quicker!
The pain will leave if you can just shut up for I dont know, A MINUTE! take huge deep breathes and think of a happy, calm, sad, or funny moment in your life and it should help the powers calm down for awhile.
The annoying voice said. I gulped and forced myself to lay flat on my side. I closed my eyes and took huge breathes and I actually felt the heat from the flames and the raging wind slightly lesson. I could only think of one happy and calm moment in my life and that was when i was with my parents.
Any normal memories for a child but to me those memories were the only good thing to happen to me until... they vanished from my life. They didn't die or anything, they just disappeared, poof. i woke up one day and they were no were to be found. I guess they were fed up with me.
A tear slides down my cheeks as i feel the powers relax inside me. "Get her to the pack Doctor." Liam said before I blacked out

I woke up in the room given to me from before and found my wounds almost healed. What? How long have I been out? I looked around and found a glimpse of myself in the mirror and my hair was short now about to my chin. It was uneven and burned in a few places. I groaned as i forced myself to sit up and saw i was now wearing a black tank top and jean shorts.
I'm glad your OK but until you learn to keep your abilities in check your going to have to keep your anger on a down low.
The voice said. who are you? i asked.
I'm what you could call a future partner if you will. Ive been keeping track of you just like Mr.Vash. that's all I can tell you for now seeing as I'm almost out of time but ill be in touch again. Good bye Hathaway.
Wait! AT least tell me who you are and why you've been keeping an eye on me!
Nothing. She was gone and I was left to deal with this again on my own. i sighed. what exactly IS special about me? i lowered my gaze to my hands. i need answers and if i want them i know only one man who can give them to me. i clenched my fists and glared at the door when i heard the familiar unlocking sound.
Charlie... he looked defeated and hurt. His hair was a mess and there were bags under his dull eyes. he looked up from the ground and up at me and was frozen in shock. "R-R-Riley! you're awake!" he said a relieved smile coming to his face. i simply nodded. "how long have i been out?" i asked. he lost his smile. "a few weeks."
a few weeks? it does explain how my wounds healed so fast. "ill go tell Liam your awake. just...get some rest knowing him hes going to want you to train right away." WHAT! it hurt to just sit up! and Liam will want me to train again! charlie quickly left the room and locked the door behind him. i groaned and fell back on to the bed.
i need to come up with a game plan before Liam breaks me. i need to get my answers and i need to get this stupid collar off! i growled at the thought having this thing on all my life. i shook my head. that's not whats important right now. information! must keep that as one of my top goals right now. i sighed and took Charlies advice and relaxed before training.
ill get my answers one way or another!
