HATE TO LOVE YOU (ENGLISH VERSION)

CURIOUS I

Seungyeon is rolling to and fro on her wide queen size bed. It is too comfortable but sleep seems to be escaping her tonight.

She got up and opened her desk top. Once the browser popped up.. she entered CNBLUE Lee Jong Hyun on the search engine.

Jonghyun's profile and pictures from concerts with his guitar began to flash on the screen one by one.
Waahh. She gasped.

She continued her search and watched clips of him on Y-tube. For a rock guitarist, he is quite admirable. From his stand, his face: clean shave or with stubbles and messy hair, she saw a different aspect of Lee JongHyun.

Indeed gorgeous in every angle. The longer she looks and reads his accomplishment, Seungyeon must admit that he is starting to admire the man.

She concluded that he is such a hardworking, passionate man to be able to accomplish all of these in his twenties. He is an idol, guitarist, athlete and a musician.

She can't explain, but the thought of marrying a guy like him made her body warm and her heart beats faster. But the idea of the whole match making arrangement sounds utterly absurd.

She shook her head and drew a deep sigh. Her eyes were drawn to the deep brown eyes on screen... inviting... captivating... pleading.. tempting...
Arrg Seungyeon pulled her hair. Finally, she gave up and made a decision. Whatever. Let's do this!

SONGDOO

"Eomma, I can't wear this outfit. It's a designer brand. I still have time to change anyway"

"Appa will ask your manager then or Appa will buy it" Mr Lee agrees with her wife that the designer clothes really look good on her daughter. It is like tailored made for her.

Seungyeon's body was accentuated by the pink color of the dress. She is glowing and shining.

"Don't do that Appa, I don't want to cause you trouble". Seungyeon is one of the artists who keep her glamour only on camera.

Most of the time, she wears truckies and hoodies at home. She thinks her hard earned money should go to more beneficial things and not on fancy designer clothes which she considers overrated.

Her family is wealthy but it never crossed her mind to show off. She learned how to be grateful in little things, by working as an apprentice in several hotels.

She collected money to buy personal necessities and rarely asked her parents to help her in financial matters. Even her siblings look out to her as an example

In addition, she doesn't want to bother the team staff. She does not want them to feel uncomfortable around her and keeping her status to the minimal.

She wants to be recognized as a hardworking person not just because she came from a well to do family.

"It's ok, We have to make an effort." Mr Yeo insisted.
Seungyeon's manager overheard their conversation. Immediately told the sponsor team about the designer dress.

The team leader were so amazed and allowed to give it to Seungyeon.
For Seungyeon, it was an unexpected kindness from the Designer's Team and manager.

"Thank you", She gasp "I will do my best and try to do better. I promise. See you tomorrow." She bowed several times as a sign of respect and appreciation to the team, staff and managers who worked hard all day and waved goodbye.

Lee Residence

"Eomma, Appa. I don't care who she is and I don't wanna know. She just wants to take advantage of my popularity and she will destroy my career that I have built. Can't you see, I was traumatized with my previous relationship. I know you think you are helping me. You have promised to your best friend that you want to fulfill, but for goodness sake don't sacrifice me like this!"
His frustrations mounted up in his chest.

"You got it wrong my Son. I trust Chang Joon so much. His family are good people. They don't need fame because they are already known in the business world. Please, it is not right to have a condescending attitude towards them"

" Then why me dad. Sure he is a rich guy and he can have a good prospective son in law for her daughter. Or do they need me to level up their marketing strategy. I'm not gonna fall to this kind of game. I have a life of my own. If they need to do so then hire another popular actor who can make her daughter popular?"

"Stop right there Jonghyunie, you've gone too far. " Bella interrupted.

"Aren't you too naive? The intention of Appa and Eomma is to save you from choosing a stupid women. Sorry if you take it wrongly. I guess you rather trust your friend in choosing who to date rather than your parents. Is that it?!"

His sister was already disappointed at his behaviour. All this time. Her parents only want what is best for them. Somehow, she expects that JongHyun will take a chance. But too stubborn and keep on throwing arguments.

"Aaaggghhhhhh everyone drives me crazy! I don't want to be involved with all of this because I'm enjoying my freedom. I want to have fun and..
well...I actually have two girlfriends at this moment. And I'm confused which one I will introduce to the family"

The two sisters give JongHyun a piercing look. Not convinced at what he just divulged. JongHyun felt cornered but continued with his lying to save face.

"Well, the first one is a model and the other one is a professional photographer. Surely there are other women more than that, that Gom. If you want a rich daughter in law, then I will look for it. But certainly not that Gom woman or whoever she is. I have a feeling that she is an opportunist who just wants to use me to increase her popularity!"

"Yaaak Lee Jonghyun" shouted his first sister. You have been talking condescendingly to other people. Did your idol image enter your head and you are acting arrogant in front of your elderly?!"

JongHyun waved his hand in the air, gesturing he gave up. He kept sighing in frustration with his head looking up the ceiling. Regrouping plans in his head how to get out of his annoying situation.

Silence.

"Gom, why are you just standing up there? Come on in, dear" Mrs Yeo led his daughter inside Lee's abode.

Her parents linger in the car park to answer an urgent phone call. Seungyeon wandered off outside the vast garden when she overheard an argument coming out of the main living room.

She ignored it at first, but she heard her name. She walked closer to the main door... closer... Cringe crept in suddenly in her whole system. She felt she wanted to disappear. Frozen for a while, she didn't realize she is only standing a few steps away from the door. So the whole family doesn't have a clue that there is someone else present listening to their contention.

Mrs Lee responded with a laugh as if nothing had happened. The two sisters rushed to the door and greeted Seungyeon and Mrs Yeo.

JongHyun didn't move a bit. When he gathered his composure he went straight to the hallway and rush to the office room ignoring the visitors

"I hope she heard everything I said" JongHyun thought inwardly, still fuming.
