Chapter 5

It's been weeks ever since things happened. Everytime Gulf went for breakfast, lunch and dinner, he hardly sees Mew. Even if he does, it's either a short meeting. And cannot be more than that. After he was let out for food, he'd be back again in his chambers. And Gulf had enough of it! Gulf waited patiently as he sees the clock, waiting for it to be 12pm, which is lunch.

As soon as the door open, he rushed out and instead of making his way to the dining room, he race to Mew's room and he could hear the guards chasing after him and thankfully, for the fact that he played football, his energy is super fast enough for the guards to chase after him. The guards whom are guarding Mew's chambers were too shocked to see Gulf running towards them and before they could stop him, he already went inside Mew's chamber, shocking Mew whom are getting dressed.

"Why are you here?" he asked. Gulf stood still without responding and seeing his reaction, Mew urged his servants to leave both of them alone which they comply. Gulf stared at Mew who is covering half of his face with his palm and seeing that his mask is on the table, he sighed. "I'm tired, of all this. I'm tired of being in the room all day and only be out for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And also, I'm tired of my endless mind thinking about why are you refusing to let me see your face without your mask and why are you even making me-"

The kiss. Gulf's eyes widen when he sees Mew kissing him and revealing his true self. The face that he wanted to see. The scar. He saw it. And for once, he never tremble in fear. Mew pulled away and look at Gulf who seems puzzled. "There. You've seen it. Happy now?" Mew stated. "Now you've seen it, you'll leave like everyone else. Fear me. Despise me. Hate me." he added as he turned his back towards Gulf. To much of his surprised, Gulf gave a hug, from behind. He could feel the younger's head on his back. "Thank you."

Mew arch his eyebrow in confusion. He turned around to see Gulf staring at him. "Thank you." he said yet again.

"For?" Mew asked.

"For showing your true self."
