Leah POV
I was walking towards the cliffs because I can relax there but also because there is a 50% chance that Jacob might be there.
Bella hurt Jacob bad, which I hate. I love him but he keeps going back to her. Jacob turns 16 in a couple of days. Yeah he's 2 years younger than me but you can't fight imprinting.
I walked into the clearing at the top of the cliff, Jacob was sitting down thinking about something. Probably Bella.
" Jacob, are you going to be here for much longer"
I saw his teeth clench. Maybe I said it in the wrong tone.
"Go jump off the cliff, Leah" he said pointing at the edge.
"Really, kid" I said, plopping down next to him
"You have no idea how hard this is for me" I said
"For you" he questioned "You have to be the most self absorbed person alive, Leah. I'd hate to shatter the dream world you live in - the one where the sun is orbiting the place where you stand - so I won't tell you how little I care what your problem is. Go Away. " he said. Ouch that really hurt my feelings.
" Just listen to me for a minute ok" I said ignoring what he just said
" If I pretend to listen will you go away" he asked
" No" I said not sure how to say the next sentence.
"I am not sure how to say this but don't judge me if I say it wrong. " I said
"Do you remember the legends, about how we are descendent from wolves?" I asked
"Yeah, I know it's true. My dad is chief and he's not that good at hiding things. That was my mums specialty" when he said the last part his face dropped
"Sorry. I didn't mean to have Sarah brought into the story" I said about to change my decision on telling him about imprinting on him.
"It's cool. What were you saying before" he said
"Um, do you remember about the imprinting. " I asked hopeful
"Yeah, why" he asked a bit hesitant
" well, I kind of imprinted on you" i said, watching his expression closely
" ok that explains everything" he said, he was smiling I haven't seen him smile in a while. He looked nervous though.
We cliff dived together for a while then we started walking back to his house.
