His recovery

Leah POV.

Billy has been staying at my house because I made him. I could see the pain in his eyes every time he saw Jacob, so I came up with a solution. I was here everyday anyway so, Billy is staying at Sues while I stay with Jacob at his house.

Every single day I stay with Jacob. The other day I almost ripped Sam's face off.

'Flashback'

'Hello, Leah speaking' I said groggily

'Leah it's Sam. I need you to go on patrol tonight. Kim got a cold so Jared can't do his shift" Sam said

"ARE. YOU. FUCKING. KIDDING. ME. Jacob has half the bones in his body broken and Kim gets a little cold. Ya know what, fuck you I am not going on patrol. Kim is a big girl she can take care of herself. Jake can't.I. AM. NOT. GOING. ON. PATROL. until Jacob is healed, tell fucking Jared to do his own shifts. If it were Emily you wouldn't be doing patrol either. " with that I hung up.

'End of flashback'

I walked into Jacob's room to check on him and he was trying to stand up. I ran to him, I put my arm around his waist and my hand on his chest to support him.

"Jake. Wtf are you doing. Please don't try and walk without me. " I said calmly

"I hate having to sit around all day. Why can't I heal quicker" he whined

"That's what you get for saving your girlfriend from a supernatural freak. " I said making him sit down on the bed.

"Hey. I learn from my mistakes. I am never going to try and save you again." He said.

I glared at him, then I made him lay down.

"Now stay. I'm going to get you some food. Stay. Good boy. " I said the last bit like I was talking to a puppy.

"Funny. But we're the same species" he yelled out to me as I left.

When I walked into the kitchen Paul jumped out of no where and scared me. In my defence I was just defending myself.

"Ouch Leah. You punched me" Paul said covering his face.

"Your stupid fault. You scared me. I was just defending myself. " I said with a smirk.

"Hi Leah." I turned around and saw Rachel sitting at the bench.

"Rachel hi, uh what are you doing here" I said

"I wanted to see my little brother. " she said

I turned to Paul and glared. "You told her what happened didn't you" I asked him

"She forced it out of me, I swear" he said

"Sure she did" I said

I got Jacob some Doritos. (It was late afternoon) and walked to his room Rachel behind me.

As soon as Jacob saw Rachel he glared at Paul.

"You told her what happened didn't you?" Jacob asked. Paul didn't even try to protest he just nodded.

"Does Sam know" jake asked Paul.

"NO! Don't tell him please. He'll rip my head off" Paul said.

"Trust me we won't as long as Rachel promises she can keep a secret" Jacob said. I cringed. Rachel has never been good at keeping secrets.

She nodded.

We all talked for a couple of hours then Jacob started falling asleep.

"Rachel, Paul it was nice seeing you guys. But someone getting sleepy. So you have to go now. Bye. " I said. They left.

The next few weeks flew by and we were both back to patrols. Billy living back at his house and surprisingly dating. Jake and I are happy for him though.

My mum and Charlie are getting closer, if ya know what I mean. I think they might start dating even.
