I groaned when I noticed the light coming from the window, irritating my eyes causing them to squeeze shut. I heard a quiet laugh from beside me, so I finally opened my eyes and looked down at Nat who was laying on her side, watching me as I slept. Her arm was resting over my stomach and when she noticed I was fully awake, she pulled me closer.

"I don't wanna get up, I just wanna lay in bed with you," I told her, my voice raspy as I spoke. "Tony is arranging a victory party tonight, if we don't show, you know he won't be happy," she told me. "I don't know, I mean Tony hasn't been available lately," I confessed whilst bringing a hand up to my face to wipe my eyes.

"How do you mean?" She questioned, trailing her fingers along my skin that was showing underneath my shirt. "I don't know, he's just been acting weird. I messaged him once to talk to him about my suit cause' I had a few ideas, but he just said he was out at the time. Then I asked Jarvis and he told me Tony was upstairs," I explained causing her eyebrows to furrow in confusion.

"That is weird," she replied, before shrugging her shoulders. "I'm sure it's nothing though. Come on, we gotta get up. You have to train and then you have to get with a team to discuss the Hydra bases," she informed me. I responded by rolling my eyes.

As soon as Nat went to get up, I pulled her down causing a soft giggle to escape her lips. It was moments like these that made me confident that she was the one for me. A touch and my heart swelled, a kiss and my stomach swarmed with butterflies. I believe I'm falling in love with her.

"Come on doofus, get up," she chuckled, kissing me lightly before finally standing up, pulling me up so I was at least sitting up. "Okay fine, I'll see you at the party yeah?" I asked. She nodded and kissed me one more time before walking out of the room to leave me to get dressed on my own.

After changing into my training outfit, I brushed my teeth and placed my hair up into a simple ponytail. Deciding to skip breakfast, I left our floor and went straight to the floor that held Tony's lab. When I walked in, he wasn't there. However, I spotted my suit on its mannequin.

I walked up to it and furrowed my eyebrows when I noticed a rip in the suit from where my arm had been sliced. Tony hadn't fixed it. I know it wasn't his job to always keep an eye on my suit, but I figured we'd probably end up fighting soon, so having my suit in good shape would be good.

I pulled out my glasses and placed them on before looking down at a tablet. "Jarvis, I'm gonna need your help here," I announced, to which the AI responded quickly. "How may I assist, miss.Jones?" He asked.

"I rely on my suit a lot. The bulletproof saves me from gunshots among other things. But, I was thinking maybe a bit more technology would help me," I told him. "What do you suggest?" He questioned. "Nanotechnology. Similar to that of what Dr.Cho found out. I'm no scientist, but I learned a lot from being in Hydra. What are the possibilities of having the suit repair itself when it tears? In the case of me getting wounded, the suit repairs itself and allows me to heal a lot better," I explained to the AI.

"Without the complexity of repairing actual cells and tissue, I believe it should be quite easy. Do you wish to start the process now?" He quizzed. I nodded, quickly. "Okay, I'll begin to write an algorithm to place into the suit's technology. I will also take the liberty to place an earpiece in the suit's mask, so you don't have to place an earpiece in every time," he told me, causing a smile to arrive on my face.

After around two hours of testing and failing, I huffed. "Why is it not working?" I asked, changing some settings on the tablet and watching the suit itself. "Although the idea itself seems easy, creating nanoparticles that repair themselves is actually quite hard, you just need to be more patient," Jarvis told me. I sighed but nodded.
