Your Wattpad theme is essentially the main profile focus. It could be a fandom you belong to, a celebrity you adore, a type of aesthetic, e.g. summer, autumn, or the main interest you tend to write about. For me, that's horses.

Your theme will give your readers an idea about what they can expect from your writing and your style.
It can be hard choosing a theme, especially as there is such a wide range of themes to choose from.

Themes can also be certain colour palettes or gradients, which often give your profile a more eye catching look.
If you can, try and match your profile picture and your background wallpaper with the same colour schemes, since this always looks better together.

ALWAYS make sure that you use good quality photos or pictures for your profile, as bad quality can make your pictures blurred and often come across as if you don't take time to do up your profile.

It's just kind of nice to see a well put together profile, as it shows the writer takes time and effort into their profile page, and keeps it interesting but simple.

If your having difficulty finding a clear and fitting image for your background profile wallpaper, just find
a plain photo of your choice of colour. For extra contrast, try and find a similar profile photo with the same colour.
