9- "Great friends or the best of enemies"

Here's a pic of a dining room that reminds me of this scene, just imagine It bigger, WAY BIGGER but the seats are set up the same and there's no fireplace

I was a little lost at first so I decided to follow the signs and once I got there My jaw swung wide open.

I was shocked...

In the dining room, There was so much food and it looked really fancy. The kids in the room did not match the dining room at all. Some were in sweatpants kinda like me except mine were pink and not grey. It reminded me of a ballroom and these students did not look like they belonged in a ballroom. The dining room was set with a huge table in the middle of the room and seats all around it. It was not like regular lunchrooms. How did they find one table big enough for more than 1000 students? There were 8 lunch lines around the room.

As I was walking in and observing I noticed some students whispering around me. Then I remembered the fight.

Oh shit

I decided to ignore the stares because I was hungry and I didn't have time to scream at a bunch of delinquents. Like I'm tryna save my breath for eating. Yeah that makes no sense, forget I said that.

I'm just tryna eat

I finished getting my food and it took forever because there were so many choices. I ended up getting some buffalo chicken and fried shrimp with celery sticks. I noticed I came from one of the last lines and most people were already seated.

I spotted the 7 gorgeous people I was looking for. Even though I was still angry at Alec I wanted to get to know the rest of them more. As I headed towards the main table the whispering grew louder. It was getting really hard to ignore at this point. I took a seat next to Sam and Elain sat on the left side of me.

"so the queen is back," sam asked amusingly.

"Well isn't obvious by the change in the air," I said smirking.

"I'm pretty sure those are just the whispers about you floating in the air", sam says.

We both start laughing

"Oh and you totally put that guy in the hospital," sam said amused by it even more.

"calm your tits it was just the school nurse nothing the boy can't handle," I said rolling my eyes

we both laughed and started to get to know each other.

I was talking to Sam about basic things like I did with Alec and we were getting along pretty well he seemed so sweet it was hard to imagine Sam in a place like this sometimes but I wouldn't be surprised If he ever showed his dark side. Sam was also pretty funny and outgoing he cracked some jokes from here to there and I laughed so hard that I was getting weird looks from people. The other 6 gorgeous people were just glaring at me I don't think they really trust me yet. Although Elaine was glaring at me more than the rest. What did I do?

Then I heard two people across from me on the table whispering pretty loudly.

"wait you're telling me she put Blake in the nurse's office," the girl asked while gesturing her hands toward me.

"why you so loud she might hear us," the guy said

"I don't care this bitch hurt my brother," the girl said.

I then slowly looked up from my food and glared at the girl.

How dare she call me a bitch.

I was surprised when Instead of cowering in fear she glared right back.

Me and this girl are either gonna become really great friends or the best of enemies.

Then she looked me in the eyes and hit her fork on her glass making everybody go silent.

The words she said next confused me and gave me a bad feeling at the same time.

"Guys I think we should give this girl a warm welcome the proper way", she said smirking
