chapter two

“ oh gabriella, i'm coming to the party. ”

“ really? ”

“ yeah. i thought about it for a bit and realized it might not be so bad to find someone. ”

“ i thought you'd never say that. i'll see you there! ”

y/n scrolled through instagram as she did most days when she remembered something. exiting the app y/n proceeded to call gabriella.

“ hey! what's up? ” a cheerful voice answered

“ i was just wondering what time the party was? it didn't say on the invitation. ” y/n asked.

“ oh, i thought i added that. anyway it's going to be at 6. ” gabriella replied.

“ alright, thanks. see you. ” with that, y/n hung up.

“ i know it's not for another day, but when it comes to clothes i can never choose what to wear... ” she said out loud, setting her phone down and heading to the closet.

“ of course it's not going to be a formal event, so i should just wear something casual that i'd wear normally. even then that doesn't help... ” she sighed

eventually y/n settled on a simple outfit that consisted of a grey crop top hoodie, grey sweatpants, a black beanie, and black sneakers. “ that'll work fine. ” she said, reassuring herself.

“ and i don't think makeup would be a good idea either with this outfit... so i'm done. great. ” y/n added with a smile, plopping down on to her bed.

‘ i do hope gabriella wasn't lying when she said there'd be cute boys at the party. i really wouldn't mind finding a guy. ’ she thought to herself.

author-nim here again! this was pretty short- shorter than the other chapter probably. i don't really have any of this story planned out besides the middle part lol.
( i just checked, this chapter is 200-something words shorter than the first chapter oop- )
