Gus knocked on the door as he waited to be let in. "Coming!" He heard someone say from inside. The door opened and Camille was revealed. "I'm guessing you're here for Adrianna." Gus smiled and nodded. "Okay, I'll go get her." Gus went to sit down on the couch as he waited for her. A few seconds later, Adrianna came out of her room and walked towards him. "I'm really sorry I overreacted Gus, I-" her sentence was cut short as Gus kissed her. Adrianna smiled through the kiss as she kissed him back.
"It's okay. I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have went to the party and I definitely should of told you where I was. I didn't mean to worry you." Adrianna smiled up at him as she hugged him. "It's alright. I forgive you." "Good. I don't know what I would've done if you didn't." "Well, maybe you can repay me by taking me out to lunch. I'm starving." Gus smiled down at her. "Anything for my lady." Adrianna blushed as she picked up her purse and followed him out the door.
"Where do you wanna go?" "We could go to this new pizza place down the street. I heard it's really good." Gus nodded at her as she gave him the directions to the restaurant. As soon as they got there they were taken to a table and seated. As they told the waiter their orders, Gus reached across the table and held Adrianna's hand. "Well, I guess this is officially our first date." Adrianna smiled and rolled her eyes at him. "Oh please, I'm not even your girlfriend." Gus smirked at her. "Do you wanna be?" "Maybe." Adrianna unhooked her hand from his and took a sip of her lemonade.
Gus shook his head at her. "Still trying to play hard to get? Alright then." Gus said as he put his hand in his lap. A few minutes later, their food finally arrived. "Wait, let me take a picture of you. You look beautiful." "I guess." Adrianna replied. Gus took the picture and smiled. "I'll be uploading that on Instagram later." Adrianna laughed at him and they ate their food in silence. Once they finished, they got back into Gus's Benz.
Gus turned around and looked into Adrianna's eyes. "Can I be honest with you?" Adrianna looked at him with concern in her eyes. "Of course." "I've never felt this way about anyone before. I really like you and I can see is being something in the future. I know you're still trying to play hard to get but I want to make you mine. So what do you say? Will you be mine?" Adrianna looked at him and smiled. "I thought you'd never ask. Of course I will." Gus leaned in and kissed her, enjoying every second of it.
They pulled away and stared at each other. "I'm so glad you're finally mine. Maybe these guys will back off of you now." Adrianna hit him and laughed. "Oh shut up." After they spent the day together, Gus dropped her off at her apartment. "I had fun today." "Me too." Adrianna kissed him on the cheek and opened her apartment door. "I'll see you later." Gus blew her a kiss and walked back to his Benz Truck.
Adrianna stared at the window as she watched him drive off. "Sooo what happened?" Camille and Austin asked her. "We're dating." They all screamed in joy and engulfed each other in a hug. "I'm so happy for you, Adrianna. I'm glad your finally happy." "Thank you guys. I love you both so much." They smiled at her and Adrianna walked into her room, smiling. Just then, her phone dinged.
hunter 🤮: are you serious.
adrianna ❤️: what? what's your problem now?
hunter 🤮: you and peep.
adrianna ❤️: leave us alone hunter.
hunter 🤮: no. you're mine and you know it.
adrianna ❤️: I'm blocking you. bye.
Adrianna sighed and she blocked Hunter's contact. He does this every time she starts a new relationship. Why can't he just leave her alone and let her be happy? He's the one that cheated in their relationship. Adrianna shook those thoughts from her head and looked in her mirror. What was so special about her anyways? Why does Gus even like her? A tear rolled down her cheek and she quickly wiped it away. "Why am I doing this to myself.."
Her phone dinged again.
She checked it and this time it was a notification from Instagram.
