"Hailley!" Daniel yells.
"What are you doing in my house?" I scream waking up.
"You didn't answer the door and I knew you were home. Then you wouldn't wake up." He sniffles.
"You're crying.." I whispered more to myself than him.
"Yea. Y-you scared me." He stutters.
"What are you doing here?" I question sitting up and looking at him.
"I came to apologize." He sighs.
"You need to do a lot more than that." I chuckle. He stands up and kneels in front of me.
"Hailley. Listen. Please." He frowns.
"Fine." I agree shaking my head.
"You're dad. He contacted me. He told me to start talking to this girl and cheat on you. I never did anything. I just said I'd act like I was cheating. We finally got him put in jail. You're safe." He smiles. I look at him my eyes wide and I open my mouth to say something but nothing comes out.
"Hailley?" Zach asks walking in.
"Daniel." He grumbles as his attitude changes.
"Zachary." I scold. He just huffs and sits down.
"I-I don't know Dani." I sigh looking back at him.
"I just had to tell you. I'll go now." He smiles standing up and walking to the door.
"And Hailley..." He steps out the door his head only popping out
"Yea?" I frown.
"I love you." He sighs and closes the door.
"Such an idiot." Zach grumbles.
"Zach." I scold yet again.
"What? He is." He laughs.
"Yes but he explained." I sigh.
"I need to go." I add getting up and grabbing my purse and phone.
"Lock up when you leave." I smile. I walk out the door and see Daniel down the stairs in the lobby area.
"Dani?" I ask as I walk up to him.
"I was hoping you'd come after me." I blushes.
"I-I didn't. I had to go somewhere to think." I stuttered.
"You're lying." He smiles.
"Okay. Maybe I wanted to see you but that means nothing." I smile back.
"Come on." He says grabbing my hand.
"Where?" I ask.
"Just come on." He smiles.
"Fine." I laugh. We get in his car and go. We stopped at my new church.
"What are we doing here?" I question.
"Well I thought we could pray together and see what God wants us to do." He shrugs.
"How'd you know this was my church?" I wondered.
"It's my church too. I've seen you coming here since our break up." He smiles.
"Daniel come on." I said pulling him away from the church.
"Why?" He asked. I just sighed and continued walking. We got back to my apartment and Zach was gone.
"What's wrong?" Daniel asked. I took a deep breath and hugged him. He stood there for a second before hugging me back. I already knew he was my soulmate. I pulled away and I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Daniel. I already know you're my soulmate. You're the person God has for me." I smile.
"Really?" He beams. I nod my head and just smile at him. He picks me up and kisses me. The kiss is filled with so much love. He puts me down and pulls away.
"Wow I've missed that." I laugh. He just nods.
"I love you." He whispers.
"I love you too." I smile giving him a small kiss.
