Zenitsu is the only one out of the Kamaboko squad to know about the city life purely because he often sneaks out during night time to hit on the city ladies. Of course, he knew about cameras too, and brought (stole) one back home.
Because the film is expensive and it's hard to take photos back then, he'd only take photos of really precious moments, including when Nezuko first spoke, the Kamaboko Squad as a whole, and Jigooro and Kaigaku in a family photo.
