Chapter One

Chapter One: Clove's Pov

Clove Sevina stepped back. She admired her now reorganized room, which was rather large with four doors, one to get in and out of her room, one to the balcony, one to her bathroom, and one to a ginormous closet. Yes, the Sevina/ Odair family was rich, but she wasn't one to brag about it. Her room was ready for fall, even though it was only September first. Her queen sized bed was as cozy as ever, her large bright blue blanket had changed to a pale creamy brown color and her watermelon throw pillows into white ones with orange leave designs. The headset of the bed was white and her fairy lights up, holding polaroid pictures. She had some crafty leaves around her desk and was eager for November and December so she could start putting a peppermint scent and pumpkin spice.

Her peaceful moment was interrupted when her brother burst through the room, panting. Clove scowled. "What?" Finnick stood up. Yes, he was her brother, his dad marrying her mother. She could've considered calling him her step-brother, which he was, but their parents had married when they were two, so she was used to him. He was one of her favorite people ever, yet she was too stubborn to admit it. He looked around the room. "Nice," he said, popping watermelon gum in his mouth. "Too bad my room can't look like this." Even if he tried, Finnick would never be able to pull off the season look, because for one he was too lazy to get crafty and his room was like summer paradise all year long, his bed spread bright blue and a surfboard propped up his wall and his door covered with a thin fishing net layer. "C'mon, Clove, the squad wants to hang."

The "squad" was also known as "The Victors" also known as "the popular group" also known as a group of the craziest people Clove knew. Even though they all hung out together, they did tend to have their own smaller groups. The first consisted of Glimmer, Madge, and Foxface. Glimmer was a huge fashion girl with gorgeous blonde curls that went boing, boing, every time she walked. Madge had calmer blonde hair and was all about being sweet and wearing yellow and white and lace and yotta yotta yotta. Foxface had fiery orange hair and was extremely smart, but was also fun and into neon colors. Glimmer called themselves the Glam Fam.

The next consisted of their boyfriends, Marvel, Gale, and Thresh.

They were troubling and Marvel was a huge jokester, Gale was sneaky smart, and Thresh was powerfully strong but grinned a lot. They were always down at the principal's office.

The third was Katniss Everdeen, Annie Cresta, Johanna Mason, and Clove herself. They were extremely funny and were just plain amazing. Katniss was sneaky like Gale, they had both grown up hunting together. Annie was sweet and beach-y (is that a word?) like Finnick. They made the perfect couple. Johanna was rowdy and tough but also had a fun, goofy side which was the reason they were all friends. And then Clove, who was tough and fun, but also artsy and innocent and girly.

And then was the last group, Peeta, Cato, Blight, and of course Finnick. Peeta was also artsy and calm and had soft blue eyes. He was also known as BreadBoy and Peety, which made him blush as everyone roared with laughter. Cato was buff and a badboy, but also could be sweet and caring with electric blue eyes, Clove may or may not had a crush on him. But shhh. Blight was pretty cute with brown hair that was adorable and kinda had a thing for Johanna. Marvel took every opportunity to ruin moments when they were alone. And then Finnick, who was dumb and cheesy and found himself quite hilarious while everybody else rolled their eyes as he laughed and laughed.

They were Clove's best friends, wacky or not, stupid or not, but they were the bomb diggity.

Hey guys! It's Jacy with another story. I'm sorry I haven't updated my other story in like forevvvvver, but I now realize that it isn't that good. Like at all. So I decided to write a new one, and I really hope you guys like it! It's got all the same awesome Suzzane Collins characters, but with a small twist. I'll try to be updating once or twice a week, still I'm sorry about my last story but I promise this one will be better. So I hope you enjoy! Oh, and Merry late Christmas! ~Jess
