*a week later*
"Hey little Heaven baby" I talked to Diva's baby bump
"One more month to go baby and you'll be here chilling with daddy" I smiled
"Umm and mommy and her brother and sister" Diva plucked me
"Yeah they be here too but mainly me" I kissed her bump
"Don't you have work" Diva laughed
"I do but I gotta get my daily talk to heaven in" I kissed Diva and headed downstairs
"Twins daddy leaving for work" I yelled
"Daddy" Dream came running first
"Got cha" I caught her
"Me next" R3 came running
"Got you too"I scooped him up mid stride
"Kisses on 3" I smiled
"1" R3 smiled
"2" Dream giggled
"3" I started kissing their cheeks and then put them down
"Be good for mommy and auntie Rochie" I walked out
Rochelle was pulling up just as I was backing out
"Yo Rochie" I hollered
"Sup bro" she smiled
"Make sure they are good. Diva is too pregnant to be dealing with them" I laughed
"You worry too much" She laughed "mom says hello"
"I bet she does" I drove off
Nah you ain't finna disrespect my future wife and the mother of my children like that. Not apologize and then think we all good cause you send my sister to say hello. She hasn't sent an apology yet just stuff for the twins. Not even for the new baby just the twins. She knows where I live I know she does. Dad comes by and helps diva when I'm at work. Rochie comes by. Some of diva's family comes by but never mom. Diva is right she's just bitter.
I arrived to the station and Jason was just pulling up
"Hey partner" I yelled
"Rookie" he smiled "what's shaking"
"Rochie watching the twins with Diva and I had my morning talk with Heaven" I smiled
"Diva told me about those morning talks" he laughed
"It's healthy she'll be able to develop speech skills from talking to her and plus it lets her know my voice" I smiled
"RJ Jason what's good fellas" Another Officer tipped his hat
"Great day for bike patrol aye quickster" I laughed
"Right you are rookie" he laughed and hopped on the bike
"When will everyone quit calling me rookie" I asked
"When you're no longer the rookie" Jason laughed
We clocked in and headed to our patrol car
"Can you fellas go out to Evergreen there's been a few calls about a block party and I just want y'all to scope it out" chief walked over
"Sure thing" Jason smiled
We both got in and buckled up. We started cruising towards evergreen to investigate this block party
"Probably just some whites trying to ruffle up some black people" I shrugged
"If that's so, we'll handle it" Jason started the car
"So you and Shatifia planning on anymore little ones" I asked
"Nah being in our 40s we are good with LJ and Tanya plus we got some adorable grandbabies to spoil" he laughed
"Spoil away PopPop Jason" I laughed
