Mr Kim had 4 wives before he married to Mrs Jeon.

While wife number 3, Mrs Jung separate with Mr Kim because he was cheating with Mrs Jeon.
Mrs Jung moved to Seoul and start a new life. Mrs Jung decide not to bring Hoseok, her son, with her to Seoul because Hoseok need a better life and he also extremely close with his other brothers despite the fact that they are steps brothers. Once a while, she will visit her sons (Hoseok and others cause she already consider them as her own sons. Except jungkook cause his mother just got married when Mrs Jung left.)
Jungkook grow up with his 6 hyungs because his parents were always busy and have no time for him.
