Aubrey's POV
*Flashback*
"Promise me you'll contact me from time to time?" I asked him getting a little teary-eyed.
"I promise." He said in a very dull look, while staring at the ground.
"I'll miss you best friend..." I told him, he hugged me, then we both cried rivers.
"The flight going to the Philippines will take off in 15 minutes."
"Well, that's my cue.." He said, pulling away from the hug. He went with his Family. I wiped my tears and hugged Tita Marinel and Tito Lyndon. "Goodbye Tita and Tito." I said between sobs.
"Paalam hija. Don't worry,we'll come back soon." Tita Marinel said while patting my back.
"Thank you po for comforting me." I replied. Tita smiled at me and went away.
"Goodbye best friend ." He said.
"Goodbye bestfriend-" He cut me off with a nice, warm, and a missing hug. He left, looked back to me, waved to me very dull-like, and he left.
*End of Flashback*
I am not to be fooled anymore. It's just too much. I cant take it. Talking about it is like a thousand knives stabbing your heart. The word "Promise" stings a lot. All of this is caused by him, Darren Espanto, my former best friend.
