Chapter 6- Get Ready Philippines

Darren went inside my room with some food on a tray. There was a loaf of french toast, omelet and a pancake.
"Darren, you didn't have to do this.. You've been so caring.." I said. "Of course, anything for you." He replied. He put the tray on my lap. Grabe.. Breakfast In Bed lang pag may time... He sat beside me after he put the tray on my lap. I ate a piece of french toast. "This is good!" I said I finished it then I moved on to the omelet. Bite #1, "Grabe! Ang sarap!" I said. Ang takaw ko, na ubos ko lahat in 4 bites. The pancake was also good! "I never knew that you can cook!" I said. "Darren Espanto's specialty!" he said putting his arm around my shoulder. I put the tray on the near table, so I didn't need to stand up. My mom knocked on the door. "I got it.." I told Darren. I stood up and opened the door. "Pack your things, Darren's family and us are going to the Philippines tonight." She said . "Wait -" "Sorry it was so soon that we told you, we planned this for so long na and it was supposedly tomorrow yung flight, pero sila Marinel ay ngayon yung flight,kaya ngayon na rin tayo. Get packing Both of you!" She cut me off in a hurry. She went to their room. "Come on Darren!" I told him. I packed some clothes, shoes, some make up, and some other things.

It is already 5:30 pm, so I changed into black shorts, a cropped top and a pair of converse. I Made some loose curls on my hair with a curling iron, and Im ready to go. We drove to the airport and waited until our flight was announced.

"Flight 0** will be leaving in 5 minutes."

We went inside the airplane. Darren and I sat together, Ella sat with Nelle, Mom sat with dad and Tita and Tito sat together. "I got the window seat and we already left.
