Ch: saving Sirius I

Bloody Neville!

"Ginny, I thought you liked me!" Neville said in an outraged voice

"What? No Neville, I like you as a friend" Ginny said frowning

"You lead me on!" Neville yelled.

"Neville, there was nothing to lead you on, your just my friend a good friend" Ginny said keeping her hand on his shoulder.

"But what about the cheek kisses" Neville asked pointing to his cheek

" I kiss my brother's on the cheek Neville but that doesn't mean I like them like that" Ginny said in a cautious voice.

"Oh..." Neville said his face turning red "sorry, please by all means continue" he said backing away

The trio were so busy talking that they didn't notice that the gryffindor common room had fell silent.

"It's in time mate" Ron said breaking the awkward silence and patting Harry on his back.

"You aren't angry?" Harry said

"Ofcourse not, it has to be someone and you are much better than someone" Ron said in a Hermione-ish voice.

"Harry, can I talk to you?" Ginny asked Harry

"Wha-? Oh yeah" Harry said walking where Ginny was leading him.

does she want to break up with me?

"Harry when should we tell Dumbeldore about Sirius?" Ginny asked softly.

"Oh..." He almost forgot about Sirius. Almost.

"after the party?" Harry asked

"After the party" Ginny echoed giving him a small but sweet kiss.

Harry grinned and followed her out the corner.

"So, mate!" Said the thick accent of Seamus Finnigan "Finally got the girl eh?" Seamus said patting him on the back.

Harry saw Ginny talking to Neville out of the corner of his eyes and suddenly felt very protective. He went towards them and heard Neville saying "Gin I'm really sorry, I hope things won't be awkward between us"

What's with the nickname

"Aww, ofcourse Nev nothing can be awkward between us" Ginny said in a comforting tone, why does Ginny has to be the perfect bean she is?

Nev? Merlin I'm going to kill that boy

"Oh, hey Harry" Ginny said noticing him.

"Hey" Harry said coming towards her and wrapping his hands around her waist.

"Harry, mate, I hope things won't be awkward between us" Neville said

Harry gave him a stiff smile and said "ofcourse not Neville, it was just a misunderstanding"

"Thank you for understanding Harry" Neville said

And so the party continued

"Come on Harry we've gotta go" Ginny said tugging his hand.

"Just a minute gin, I'm going to the boys dorm and take my invisibility cloak" Harry said kissing her cheek

"Alright, but fast!" Ginny said leaving his hand. Harry rushed to the stairs and to the boys dorm.

He opened his trunk and searched for the invisibility cloak, yanking out many things, including a notebook.

The noise of the notebook falling grabbed Harry's attention. He picked it up and kept it on the bed, during the process the pages flipped and the date of 3rd December 1973 opened.
