It wasn't long before Sam got fed up with Danny's bickering. Without him knowing, she decided to escape.
Sam quickly ran out of her bedroom and out of the front door of the Fenton house, but then she had a new problem to deal with.
The feral cats that chased Jeremy were now chasing her. All 12 of the feral cats in the pack chased Sam, as they wanted to devour of a person... and she seemed perfect.
Sam was cornered at a brick wall, and it seemed hopeless with the feral cats about to maul her. But just then, Danny flew from his bedroom to save her.

There were a few close calls, but Danny managed to win the fight.
After fighting off the feral cats, Danny flew Sam back to his house.

When they got home, Sam realized a feral cat bit Danny's arm, and she was trying to heal it. Danny didn't want Sam to touch the wound, but Sam wanted Danny to control his temper.
However, it was clear something romantic was brewing between them.
