Gemini's POV
I woke up today feeling both happy and sad. Remembering that strange book from yesterday. Today's my birthday! But also the day that.. that that happened.. I remember it all so well..
"Really, Pearl? You're fucking leaving me?!" His dark eyes full of anger
"I-it's for the best!" Glass shatters
"Mommy!" My 7 year old self rushed downstairs to see a glass bottle of alcohol shattered on the floor, seeing the horror image of my moms scars bleeding open "Gemini, check if Gemina is okay upstairs!" I attempted to run back upstairs but that wouldn't happen anytime soon as I felt a pang of pain on my back. I felt liquid drip drown to see it's blood. My blood..
"Gemini!" My mother screamed in pain as she attempted to fight my dad. Minutes later, sirens were heard as it seemed to be that Gemina called the cops. I was rushed to the hospital as I fainted due to blood loss.
I would never forget that day ever. I even have a scar.. I hide it with that foundation stuff girls use. Works like a charm!
Mercury was lucky that he had left off to his fathers home before all this chaos had happened
Sometimes I wonder if people even see through the mask I wear everyday.. do they know about the real me? Still not sure..
The door opened with Libra & Aquarius attempting to dance while "happy birthday to you" was playing. I cringe a bit at their dancing
"Happy birthday Gem!" They say in unison
"Like our dance? It was a last minute idea by the way!" Aquarius said excitedly
"Who made the ending? I asked
"Moi! Did you like it?" Libra responded
"Ah yeah, very great" I said uncertainly. Okay no. That ending was h o r r i b l e but they're my bestfriends so it's best if I shut up
"Dude, we baked you a cake!" Uranus walked in.
The cake had blue & green frosting on it saying "Happy birthday Gemini!"
"Thanks guys! I really appricia-" I got interrupted with Uranus' phone going off. He picks up as his eyed widen in shock
"Guys! Get your sports clothes on, it's sports day and the coach is literally waiting for you guys!" He rushes downstairs
After 10 minutes, we sprint towards the coach "Hold up!" Aquarius shouts
"Good job being late guys! We were about to leave!" Miss Nebula
"Wow, good job you guys" Virgo says sarcastically
"The fact I get treated like shit on my birthday is sad" I comment while sitting next to Libra
"Well, it's sports day on YOUR birthday" Aries says
"What do you even see in her?" I whisper to Libra
"A feisty soul" he whispers back while not breaking his gaze on Aries
"Dibs on egg & spoon race!" Leo shouts out
"Aw man! I wanted to do egg & spoon" Cancer complains
"Tough luck" Capricorn said
"I'm doing archery. I will NOT get second place AGAIN!" Sagittarius says determind to win that 1st place medal
"What do you mean by 'again'?" Pisces questioned
"Basically, ever since nursery, Sagi would always get 2nd place in sports day. She usually loses to Rat or Sekhmet" Taurus explained as Pisces made an 'o' sound
