Alexus looked at herself through her bathroom mirror trying to find the beauty within herself that she once knew. She tried to look past what she thought and see what others may have thought.

Her whole life she's been told how beautiful or gorgeous she was and it always boosted her confidence, but now she doesn't feel anything when someone compliments her.

Her thoughts were interrupted once she heard her door bell ring constantly.

She tied her robe tightly before walking out of her bedroom and down her marbled floor stairs that led her into her home's foyer.

"Girl I know you hear me ringing this damn door bell" Alexus's Bestfriend of six years huffed once Alexus opened the door.

"You should be glad that I let you in" Alexus smirked before heading back into her room.

Alexus and Raven have been bestfriends since their freshman year of college, they ended up being roommates and it's been history ever since.

"Why aren't you dressed girl?" Raven asked as she looked Alexus up and down.

"I was just finishing up on my makeup, all I have to do is slip on my outfit" Alexus said before taking her robe off leaving her butt ass naked, they both saw each other naked multiple times so it wasn't anything to be embarrassed about.

"I heard that it's going to be lit tonight, I'm excited" Raven cheesed excitedly, she was always out clubbing.

Alexus never came out of the house unless it was for food or work so when she finally agreed to go out with Raven tonight, Raven wasted no time getting to Alexus's place.

"I already know that my anxiety is going to kick my ass" Alexus chuckled as she slipped on her high-waisted black jeans.

"You never wear dresses when we go out, I love your style don't get me wrong but when will we ever match" Raven pouted.

"Girl please, you know that I don't be feeling comfortable in them right ass dresses. When I wear my jeans, I can actually move around without worrying about if my ass is showing or not" Alexus shrugged.

"Where's Chris?" Raven asked.

"He's out on a business trip" I answered.

"Only a fool would believe that shit, he's a sorry ass nigga yo, I swear" She shook her head.

"Can we not do this Raven? Let's just enjoy ourselves tonight" Alexus sighed.

Raven hated Chris for Alexus, she felt like he didn't give two fucks about Alexus and she was right.
