Tim WIlde, a gray anthropoid raccoon and Rachael Brooks, an anthropoid red fox were on their lunch break just walked into the fast food restaurant where Tim’s wife and Rachael’s twin sister Riley was sitting across the table from Rachael’s partner Jasmine Bleiz who were just finishing there lunch. While Tim and Rachael were in line waiting to order Riley walked passed the two of them Riley pulled some fur from Tim’s tail. While Rachael was ordering Tim turned around and asked “What was that for?”
“Just a DNA test for your proof that I am carrying your unborn kid.” Riley said a little disappointed as she left the restaurant.
Tim then walked to the next open register and ordered a chicken sandwich with onion rings and a large coke while Rachael sat down at a table next to a window facing the road and started to eat her hamburger and fries. Tim sat down to eat his lunch but before he could open and unwrap the box that his sandwich was in he heard a commotion outside and looked up just as four cars sped passed the restaurant. “We gotta go. You drive here are the keys.” Tim said as he grabbed his lunch and ran out to the patrol car
Rachael ran next to Tim asking “What’s up?”
“Four cars in an illegal street race.” Tim said as soon as he got the passenger side door of the patrol car open. He put his food down on top of the dash and sat down on the passenger side and grabbed the mic for the police scanner and said “This is unit 33 we have a street race northbound River Avenue.
“Copy that how soon are you able or willing to get the helicopter airborne?” asked an anthropoid lynx named Kendra
“Where’s the nearest speedster unit?” Tim asked
“This is unit 35 we are eastbound on Lakewood with the light at river in sight.” replied a female voice over the radio
“Helicopter will be airborne within the next fifteen minutes then.” Tim said
“10-4 the sooner we get this stropped the better.” Kendra replied.
Rachael sped to the airport where the police helicopter was kept. which was on Lakewood. As soon as they were parked Tim ran towards the helicopter and started to run the pre-flight checks. Rachael pulled the helicopter out of the hanger then asked “Do you really need a co-pilot?”
“It’ll be fine just don’t look through the floor windows.” Tim replied.
“Fine.” Rachael said as she got into the helicopter.
“KHLM traffic this is Kilo two niner Zulu on observance take-off runway two-threree North Northeast.”
With no response Tim lifted the helicopter off the ground and headed Northeast. “HQ the helicopter is now airborne.’ Rachael said gritting her teeth due to being afraid of heights
After a few minutes Tim said “WE are back over River and have no sight on the street racers anyone see them?”
Tim heard Riley say “Yes but now we are Northwest on Butternut
now.”
“10-4 Rachael and I will be overhead in a bit.” Tim said as he rotated the helicopter and followed River ave.
I am at the intersection of Butternut and Quincy do you want me to stop them?” Asked Tim’s twin brother Matt.
“If you feel you can safely If not we will try to slow them down with the helicopter at Ransom.” Tim replied as he flew over the race.
“I’ll try two with spikes.” Matt replied as he and his partner who was a female brown anthropoid raccoon named Katrina threw out some spike strips across the road.
"Spike strips deployed and successful in the northbound lane. Stopped  two requesting another unit to assist." Katrina replied.
"Unit 39 stopping to assist unit 34." Said a male fox named Ryan Kohn.
"10-4 unless someone else has a better plan to stop the other two racers Rachael and I are going to land at the intersection of Butternut and Ransom." Tim replied as the helicopter approached the intersection.
Rachael gripped the top of the control panel tightly causing her claws to dig in and poke holes in the leather around the control panel. "Man I hope you two get your issues resolved soon because I hate heights and flying." Rachael said as Tim set the helicopter down on the intersection which caused the other two street racers to slam on their brakes. The driver of one of the cars got out and Tim recognized them the other driver was unknown to him. The driver who was a female human surrendered to Tim just as another unit of his showed up in a car with a back seat and a divider between the front and back arrived on scene and a couple of female anthropoid rabbits got out.
Tim pulled one of the rabbits aside and said “Jennifer let me take that female human she looks familiar I think I stopped her a few months ago or so for attempt to street race.”
“Okay see you later then.”Jennifer replied as Tim handcuffed the female human and loaded her into the back of the helicopter.
Tim started the helicopter’s engine and took off heading back to the airport. “You know you seem very familiar to me.” Tim said looking back at the woman
“Yea I didn’t want to say anything out there but you did stop me for attempted street racing. My name is Kelly Cooper I was technically expecting county to do something not you guys. We technically wanted county.”
“Well at least now they are behind bars and at least you did get a department’s attention. We will divert the tow truck with your car to park township airport.” Tim replied then he looked at Rachael and said “Since your clearly not doing well with these heights go back there carefully and take those handcuffs off her.”
But didn’t we arrest her?” Rachael protested
“Yes but that was to protect her cover. Your sister and I stopped her a
.few months ago for trying to do her job.” Tim replied as he started to
Land the helicopter then said into the radio on the airport’s frequency “KHLM traffic this is Kilo two niner Zulu landing on runway two-three.” As soon as Tim locked the hanger up he got a call from his younger  sister saying that she needed to talk to him and their dad as soon as possible.
