Chapter 5

You stood in front of the door to Sollux's house, debating on knocking. You really did kind of force the whole 'staying at his house' thing on him. Maybe you should just go.

You went to turn around, only to be stopped as the door opened, a tall, lanky teen standing in the opening. "Hey there, KK." You waved a bit awkwardly, fixing the strap of your bag on your shoulder. He gestured for you to come in, yourself following the lead and stepping inside. It was much warmer than the chilly air outside, immediately feeling the heat of the house warm yourself. Sollux shut the door behind you, walking in front of you and towards the living room. Taking that as a sign, you followed behind him like a lost puppy. He sat on the couch, lounging back as you still stood there. He took notice of this, raising an eyebrow. "You can sit, you know." You sat down, taking your bag off. "I know." he chuckled slightly before bypassing the topic. "Soo, what do you want to do?" He questioned, yourself shrugging. "I mean, it is pretty late so, sleeping?" he pondered it for a second before also shrugging. "Sure, why not. We can probably do more tomorrow anyways." He stood up, stretching a bit before heading towards the stairs. "Alright, let's go then." You grabbed your bag, following him to his room.

You noticed the bathroom on the way, clearing your throat. "I'm going to change and be right in there." He nodded, walking into his room. You went into the bathroom, putting your bag down to pull out a pair of sweats and a t-shirt. Carefully slipping off your other shirt and pant, you put the new pair on, sighing a bit at the relief of baggy clothing on your bruises. Putting your old clothes in your bag, you walked out and towards sollux's room. He was lounging on his bed on his phone, a small lump of blankets noticeable on the ground beside the bed. Setting your bag down, you took it as a symbol and went to organize them. He only stopped, sitting up and raising an eyebrow. "KK what are you doing?" I stopped, looking at him. "Organizing blankets to sleep in..?" he scoffed, standing and picking you up as if with ease, causing you to yelp and flail a bit. He plopped you down on the bed, crossing his arms and smirking. "There. You're sleeping there, I'm on the ground." You sat up, quickly trying to switch places. "No no, I am not going to just take your bed-" he interrupted you by pushing you back down, sitting on the blankets that he had somehow organized to be comfy. He then laid down on them, covering himself and snickering slightly. "Nanight, KK." you still sat there. "Im not sleeping in your bed-" "KK-" "It's yours, I'm the one that intruded so I should be sleeping on the floor-" "Karkat just get your ass to bed." you shut up at him actually calling you your full name for once, huffing in defeat and getting under the blankets, curling up a bit. "Goodnight then." he hummed in response. You soon slowly drifted off to sleep in the blankets.

Hey guys!!! I know this is super short but it's all that I really had written for the time. I only updated right now because I felt really horrible for making everyone wait. Here's some more though! Now I have to get back to Latin since I'm currently in school soooo see ya!
