Charlie's POV
It's been about two months since I signed up for xfactor and today's the day. Caitlin couldn't come as she had to look after her brother, but were meeting up after to tell her the news.I picked little things by one direction as it reminded me of Caitlin. I wouldn't tell her what song I picked so she had to wait till Saturday when I'm on TV.
"Charlie jones" "yeah" I replied "come through it's your turn" I nodded and slowly walked behind the assistant. I really wish Caitlin was here and I wouldn't be so nervous.
I sang my song and all the judges were beaming. "You know what you've got potential" I was so shocked on what Simon said "thank you" "it's a yes from me it doesn't matter what the others say your through" "thank you so much" I said with tears in my eyes as I ran out to hug my mum. I was hugging my mum as I felt something on my leg I looked down to see Ben Caitlin's brother. "OMG Caitlin I thought you weren't coming" i said running to hug her.

Caitlin's POV
"What are you doing here? How did you get here?" Charlie said. "Woah woah Charlie calm down and more important is did you get through?" I asked "you'll have to wait till Saturday but I picked the song coz it reminded me of you" he smirked "you..." I said but Ben interrupted me "Charlie please can we play fifa again" "yes mate we need to go home first" Charlie emailed as he gave Ben a piggyback. We went home with Charlie and his mum and played fifa to ben's happiness. It was getting late so I had to take ben home and to bed.

*saturday*
I was sat with Charlie on his sofa watching xfactor. When Charlie came on I just smiled. When he sang I really could help it after he told me the song reminded him of me. I stayed at his again at it was about 11 when we decided to finish watching TV.
