Charlie's POV
"Caitlin??" I said confused am I seeing things? "Hi" she said looking down "I'm going to get something to drink" chris said standing up looking at the other boys and walking out "yeah me too" said James tom and Barclay walking out. Soon enough all the boys started giving excuses to leave the room after about 5 minutes only me Caitlin and Reece were left in the room. Reece walked into the middle of the room looked at us both and said "right you two, you need to talk you haven't spoke your months and it's getting ridiculous, you two were amazing together and I know you won't go straight back to that at least be friends again" and then just walked out the room. I looked at Caitlin we got eye contact then she looked back down to her knees .
Caitlin's POV
Really Reece why!? I looked up to Charlie just as he looked up we locked eyes for a few seconds before I looked back down why did I come here.
"Are we talking or not?" Charlie suddenly said "well what about" I said looking up at him "what happened to is we were un breakable and you heard Reece we were perfect together but you dump me on my birthday leave me standing there and I haven't seen or heard from you for months why?" He let out "we were good together yes I admit it but something changed ever since you competed in xfactor you've changed with all the attention from girls you seemed less interested in me so I finished before it got worse and you cheat on me and I didn't want to go through that. You could've got in touch with me there was nothing stopping you so don't put all he blame me for not talking and I lost contact with all the boys except Reece so if you wanted to know how I was you could've asked him, also you live on the same street you could've just come to my house" I tried not to raise my voice. He just sat there taking it all in.
"Do you know why I didn't call text or come to your house because, because I was scared that you wouldn't want to talk to me again as you did dump me, and I didn't know you were talking to Reece otherwise I would be asking all the time about, do you know why though? Well let me tell you it's because I STILL CARE caits I still fucking care about you even if I tried to get over you I couldn't bring myself to it, I loved you so much and I can't stop. The day you dumped me everyone left I went straight to my room and curled up on my bed crying myself to sleep, I hardly left my room for weeks even Christmas my parents forced me to come down for the whole day. I
was broken without you and knowing that I did something to make you dump me made me worse" he said crying. I didn't know what to say I stood up and walked to the other side of the room to where he was and hugged him. I have to admit I missed his hugs a lot, "I don't know if we will ever go back to where we were, but give it some time and I missed not having you in my life you always made me smile on my worst days and no one can do that except you Charlie your the only one. We're not getting back together not yet anyway but please can we be friends?" I said still in his grasp, he pulled me away from him a little and looked straight into my eyes " Of course I'll be friends with you best friends at that, I will always care for you remember that and if we never get back to get her just remember no one could beat you" he said kissing my forehead and bringing me into another bear hug. "Shit" he muttered "what's up?" "The shows starting very soon we better go find the others" he said walking to the door "piggy back?" I said with puppy eyes he rolled his eyes and bent down so I could jump on.
We found the boys and they all looked very happy we're friends again and so was I. I pulled my phone out and gave it to Charlie to take a picture of us all I uploaded it on snapchat with a caption saying 'reunited with these idiots☺️👌' "show time boys" James shouted Reece did his pre show thing of kissing jakes nipple which I still don't get!
The show was amazing and I'm so glad that I'm back with my best mates again.
