He woke up to a loud alarm that made my ears ring with its courageous volume..

'Well, fuck, it's that time already? Do I actually ever get sleep? ... Probably not.'

He gets up and goes to the attached bathroom, washing his face and then staring in the mirror. 'Yay...' Saying that, he returns back to his bedroom and gets changed into something more appropriate.. well, not really. Just the same thing a lil' better.

Then, not too long after, he's already at the so-called "Adelaida"'s house, and she already welcomed him in.

'So... tutoring. I've never done that before, how does it work?'

'Well, just act like a teacher and tell me useless things. Pretty simple. What ya think?'

Laughing, he says, 'Yes, very simple!'

'Aha. It's nice to know you aren't brain dead. I mean, no offense, you take everything the wrong way, again no offense, so I'll say I just mean... like... you're not emotionless. You have humor?'

'Of course I have humor. And I do NOT take everything the wrong way!'

'Well, you certainly doubt everything 'bad' I say about you!'

'WELL, that's true.'

And then they sit in silence for a while, the only noise was the fire crackling and the voices of drunk teenagers outside. When the lights flickered, there was finally some noise.

'Oh, don't worry. They do that sometimes... I know we didn't do any tutoring, but honestly I can't be bothered, don't think you can, either? So, how about you stay over for tonight? Ya know what, forget that! You can sleep in my mom's room. Double bed fine for you? She's gone to California with my brother and my father whilst they're doing "university applications", by that, they're looking at different universities to see if they're... good enough. Jee, just go already! It's getting later and later-'

And after a while they were both asleep.

A grey fog, a life set in stone. Is it that bad to want something?..

That's when it happened.

[Landon's POV]

Running, running through the forest. Away. Just away. From whatever that was. It doesn't matter what it was. I don't want to find out. It's horrible. Take me away from it. Please. I don't.. I don't want to be here..

But I didn't realize what the forest was.

Pure luck, running into that forest. I don't know the real name or many nicknames, but I'll nickname it 'Spiritual Forest'.. it's where people go when they're about to die. Or if they weren't. It doesn't matter, destiny will just change and you'll end up dying if you walk into that forest.

But the worst thing about 'accidentally' ending up there is the fact you know you didn't go there. The world made you. It's destined for you to die at that time so it drives you there. The many different creatures'll just rip you apart and it's so apparent you won't be able to survive like that.

Blood everywhere as I stumble, and fall to the ground. Turning around I close my eyes, knowing the black creature known as 'Null' will probably just kill me right there and then. Oh, I was so right. But too wrong.
