I invited John over. He answered and said he would come over in 3 minutes.
"Hey John! What up bruh?" I said when he came over.
"Nothin much? Wha bout you?" He replied.
"Waiting for you to come over!" I said.
"Cool! Okay let's play football! I brought a ball over!" He said throwing the ball at me.
I caught it and frowned. I have to tell him. I was keeping this secret for 13 years and I can't do it anymore. "I have to tell you something first." I hung my head.
"What?"
"You know what? Never mind."
"No tell me."
"I-I think-"
"You think what?"
"I think I'm g-gay."
His eyes widened. He started backing away looking as if I was about to murder him.
"Homo!" He said pointing at me. He ran away.
I was still shocked. I dropped the football and ran inside, tears rushing down my face.
I ran in past the kitchen where my parents were talking.
"Tyler! Sweetie! Hey-Come back!" My mom called.
I ran up the stairs.
"It's probably his puberty stage." My dad said.
My mom sighed and walked upstairs. I went into my bathroom and locked the door. I heard a faint knock, "Sweetie." My mom said.
"Uhh.. Hey mom I fell and I need to spray my cut that's all." I lied. I made myself sound like I wasn't crying. I was proud of myself for sounding so good.
That was the only thing about me that I was now proud of.
"Oh okay. Dinner is ready in 8." my mom reminded.
"Okay thanks."
I buried my hands in my face and I cried so hard.
