The Other Assasin -Illumi x reader-

The Invite

Here I am sitting on top of a tree meditating. I hear a screech and look up there it was, a new assignment. I jump down from the top of the tree and and nice and soft on my feet. The bird flies down and held out his foot, there was a abnormally large piece of paper tied down on it's foot. I see the Zoldyck logo on it and sigh this was probably an invite from Zeno, the old man always tries to make me fight him. There are only 2 people in the world that where able to fight me and not die and only 1 of them actually won, Zeno Zoldyck is the 1 who survived and Isaac Netero was the only 1 who actually won. Ever since that fight with Zeno he tried to fight me again. I almost threw the papier away, but curiosity took the best of me. Just as I thought he wants me to meet him at the Zoldyck mansion. Wait the Zoldyck mansion? That's weird he always chooses abandoned places to fight, maybe he has a job for me or something I hope that's the case because I am not in the mood for a fight.

It's currently 06:00 and he wants me to be at the mansion at 07:00, I can make that. I grab my stuff and leave to the mansion. I just realised that I've never actually been to the mansion, I mean I know where It's located but how do I get inside. I mean they are amazing assassins -although I could beat them easily- and I wouldn't want to make a bad impression to the other Zoldycks. I see the mountain in the distance, its about 5 miles away so I'll be there in about 5 minutes. I land in front of the gates at exactly 06:30, alright I admit it's a little early but still.

I see 2 doors:
- 1 made out of stone and looks locked.
- and 1 made out of wood.

I was about to step forth when I heard a bus coming my way. I quickly hide in the bushes. I see the bus and sigh in relieve it are just tourists. Wait why are there tourists HERE? I walk closer to hear what the guide is saying.

"This is the famous Zoldyck mansion, owned by the best assassins ever the Zoldyck family th"

Before she could explain further 2 guys interrupted her and walked to the door. The helpless gatekeeper got overpowered by the 2 guys and they took his keys and walked to the wooden door, the keys worked and the 2 guys walked in with big smiles on there faces.

"What a pathetic gatekeeper was that" one of the 2 guys said.
"Yeah if that is how they guard the door how easy will the rest be?" The other guy laughed.

I growled they really think its that easy. A few minutes past and I hear to screams. Yep there you have it the actually guard. I see the tourist hurry to the bus in panic, scared that they will also die. I got out of the bushes and walk to the gatekeeper.

"How do you get inside the gates?" I ask him while grappling him by the collar.
He points his finger to the wooden door "Thro...through that door"
"Liar, do you really think I'm that stupid? I give u exactly 5 seconds to tell me how I get in" I say.

"One"
...

"Two"

...

"Thr" I start

"Alright, alright the real entrance are the stone doors. They aren't for decoration, they're just really heavy" I looked at him and dropped him on the floor. I walk to the stone doors and began to push with both hands, it was lighter than I expected I open all the stone doors in one push and walked inside.

"Wait what's your name?" The gate keeper asked.
I looked over my shoulder to the man with a sadistic laugh on my face.

"My name? I guess I could tell you. My name is Y/N L/N, remember this name good it might just save you one day"

I walk up the road to the mansion, the forest here is beautiful i think to myself.
Then I saw a girl standing in the middle of the road, with some soort of stick. I walk closer and immediately sense another presence, I walk further without showing any signs that I know that there is someone else.

"Stop you shall not pass" the girl said.

"Even not with a invite?" I ask the girl innocently holding up the letter from Zeno. I look at her as innocently as I could possibly make my face, I see her debating with herself if she should let me pass or not. She was about to say something when her expression suddenly changed.

"As I said before you shall not pass" I sigh.

"Can the person standing in the shadows please come out? I would like to pass through but that's not possible because you are manipulating this girl" I say calmly. I watch a fat boy coming from the shadows.

"How did you know I was here?" He asked surprised.

"I sensed your presence as soon as I saw the girl and your Zetsu is not that good" I say.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN MY ZETSU ISNT GOOD, I LEARNED IT MYSELF!" He screamed.
I shrug and walk further.
"Wait where are you going? CANARY STOP HER!" He yelled.

Ugh can't he just stop yelling it's getting pretty annoying. The girl who's name is Canary steps in front of me in a fighting position. I sigh "alright I quess we're doing this than" I take of my cloak and my bag and look up at her through my H/C hair and stared at her with my E/C orbs, I she her shivering and smile sadisticly, right now she was shaking I see the time it's 06:50 damn it I wanted to have some fun I guess I need to do this quickly. I waste no time and appeared behind her just to hit her in the right spot by the neck just hard enough so she would be unconscious for a long time. I grab my stuff and look at the boy behind me with the same sadistic look on my face.

"What's your name boy?" I ask him sweetly.

"Mi..Milluki Z..Zoldyck"

"Ah so you are a Zoldyck, well I need to get going see you later"

I run to the mansion and arrived within 3 seconds. The mansions was massive, Jeez how many people live here? I think to myself. I walk up to the mansion and knock on the door.

Hey author here is everything clear so far or should i make an A/N about Y/N? Most things will get cleared through on the story, so don't worry about that. Oh and Illumi will get introduced in the next chapter of the one after that (I'm not sure) at first you won't get much of him as I am trying to builen a story about Y/N first but later on he will appear a lot more (also I DO NOT own hunter x hunter all credits go to the creator of hunter x hunter)            \(UwU)/
